Scary yes ….. but they would have to be some serious changes in herpes biology to act in such a way mutations are kinda like rolling a dice you could either get a more effective virus or a more retardant version of it though to force and cause certain mutations would require some pretty intensive and complicated work
I've seen like 7 of his videos on "zombie" stuff and it seems the cause of a zombie outbreak is either herpes, rabies, or some made up viral-like infection.

"... Why were the precautions taken so terribly?" At the start of Covid-19 the US Army set up quarantine treatment areas for the then handful of cases in California. In these areas they had general units without any training walking around and talking to patients in 'quarantine' without any PPE. They were allowed to return to base or even just go home without so much as washing their hands after extended, unprotected contact with viral patients. TBH it would be shocking if the DOD took as many precautions as shown in the movie given how any factor of the government treats basic precautionary measures.
You said the department of defense was written on the zombies armband.... D.O.D. also stands for Date of Death. Which makes more sense in a zombie movie. If this was a side project by the department of defence I think it'd be much more closely monitored than that.
I will rewatch everything you make. Over and over again. I play them while I do chores, make food, new ones are date night content depending on what they’re about, and even while I sleep.
Always had an idea about zombies doing something they did constantly while alive for instance I think it would be terrifying having zombies who were avid hunters while human and therefore stealthily stalk and ambush alive humans so not even in the rural parts of the world would you be safe

Hey Roanoke, I don't mind you having to reupload your stuff. Well, that's a lie - I *hate* that you have to reupload your stuff, but it's never your fault! It's always a treat to watch your stuff, and I often will rewatch your videos even when going to sleep, because not only are they a good summation of some movies, but they also make it feel like I'm learning something!

I love this movieso much so that I rewatch it twice or 3 times a year and this analysis explains and expands alot for things that makes so much sense,also I remember watching this video a week ago and I'm sorry that you had to reuploaded,hope and pray that it doesn't happen again.

What's funny is you mentioned why the department of defence precautions was so lacklustre, but have you checked out how actual missile silos are taken care of? They run on super old technology and they're not monitored on a regular basis or even repaired properly. This was probably another project that got pushed around from desk to desk until people stopped caring enough, which seems to be a common thing in the US
It’s kinda funny because their “troop” wouldn’t actually happen, mostly because a troop has to have what’s called 2 deep leadership, you have to have 2 adults due to youth protection (basically so kids don’t get taken advantage of, if you get my drift). Awesome movie though, I really need to rewatch it.
First - great video! But just wanted to mention the D.O.D. was date of death with the date stamped right after it. So, it was an experiment to bring back the guy.
Thanks for bringing this movie to my attention. It was a fun watch. As for zombies, the most plausible zombie I came across in fiction is in the Titan, Wizard, Demon trilogy (specifically in the last book, which ironically gets more science fantasy than science fiction). In Demon, the zombies are really just a food source and a scaffolding for a colony of snake-like organisms that contract and relax like muscles to move the skeleton around while they eat the flesh. These "death snakes" grow from spores that are ubiquitous in the environment, so any body left unattended will "reanimate" after a while
I went to high school with that kid in the thumb nail, he passed away a year or two ago. I always thought it was crazy seeing someone you knew in some of the shitty horror movies you watch. rip joey

4:16 I would say this is the most badass thing this or any Scoutmaster has ever done, but then again, Like half of the ones I've met were involved in the Vietnam war, and I also know the Scoutmaster from my old troop fought with a black bear, I don't know if he'd classify it as a win, as the bear got away, and the cub scouts were unhurt, so definitely a win if you ask me
I always found the Zombie craze funny, since Zombie movies were always seen as very political. With the Zombies taking the place of whatever group you are messaging about. Also DOD may not stand for Department of Defense, it could be Dan's Olive Den, come for the bread sticks and stay for the brains. If the characters are stupid why not the source of the 'infection'. Oh at my senior party we went gambling at Treasure Island (Irvine, SoCal). Yeah when the parents found out afterward, things got ugly. No Zombie outbreak out, it was 99' so a big fight between vampires and werewolves in the parking structure.
the most unrealistic part of this movie is how they hit a deer going at that speed and their car didn't even have a dented bumper. seriously hitting a deer will more often than not total bigger cars than that one.
Don't put a spare up front if you get a flat up front take a rear wheel to put up front, put the spare on the rear spot. It's your safety and whoever drives around you safety. You would think the trillion dollar movie industry that's so morally superior would make one movie explain or show this. Instead every movie has failed this on any front flats. Bravo
I've said it before, but Zombies are the greatest Horror Movie Monster, greater than Vampires and Ghosts, they are the perfect and most iconic among all of them.
Question what would suck more. Finding out the girl you like is actually getting it from from some other dude at a party, or finding out that girl is now a zombie cuz she got her box eaten by a a zombie when she wanted it to be eaten by said dude 😂
