I know it took extra long for this video to come out, it was taking a bit to edit and I was tired last week tbh, had the time but no the energy. Adding an extra video to do every week is coming to be difficult, so if it doesn't come weekly, expect it in the following :)
I hope you guys enjoyed the next part, we're learning a lot and this game is truly incredible!

W IMPRESSION 17:42 Because it was pretty good. Jokes aside loving this series so far. My 12 year old butt had a more straightforward time playing Overlord on my Xbox 360 at the time, but I get that games back then were just built different and now this style of gameplay and story is out of fashion. I'm subscribing to this channel. Gaming on a Budget and Overlord in 2024? Massive W content.

Also while I'm here, peon in Spanish literally means pawn, like the Chess piece pawn. In some English contexts it can have that meaning as well, that being low ranking underling, sometimes military in nature.

Getting the smelter was pretty funny. Not only did you walk past the red summon gate 6 times (it's in the burning house next to the smelter), but you don't need reds to carry it, just to put out the fire. You walked back and forth across Mellow Hills twice for nothing.

I always loved this game.I’m going to drop some useful info.I hope you keep going with this series.browns are your standard soldiers.use them for direct combat and to keep enemies pinned down.reds are fireproof ranged fighters.keep them off the front.post them somewhere they can whip fireballs without getting mugged because they’re flimsy.greens are poison proof and are best for ambushes and rear attacks.if you post them they become invisible and you can lure enemies into them.blues are waterproof and although they’re the least combat effective they’re the only ones that can reach many areas.use your recall if enemies are using a charged up attack to avoid eating damage and use the right stick to steer minions away moves them much faster than just having them follow you.a great setup would be greens posted where they can defend reds.use browns to harass enemies into giving chase toward the reds so the greens can ambush while the red light them up.

u gotta keep up with this, also have a few tips for ya, if u running low on essence u can always go to the arena to slaughter some foes, i suggest the bugs cause u can obliterate 'em with a lot of brown fellas u gotta do a hit and run strategy sending one minion to attract a few bugs then going in the most secluded part of the arena and so on, beware tho the arena is crawling with an army of 'em. I also suggest getting a lot of essence so u can make an armor with health regen and a lot of protection so u can storm through the game with ease. 👍 g'luck on ya evil playthrough!

I just saw your GOAB video about Overlord yesterday and I really hoped that you would continue the playthrough. OL 1 and 2 are great games. It would be nice if you continue further with the game, I'd really like to watch it. There is a nice twist at the end, if I remember correctly, and the green minions are awesome. You really have to micro manage your Army later.

Overlord is basically a Pikmin-like if you think about it. We don't get enough of those. Codemasters are a British developer (they make all the Rally racing games too) hence the weird Fable like humour haha

Overlord is classified as an ARPG RTS, but the cutscenes, crude humor and story are what make it so unique. I can see why it was so loved :)

Yeah heavens peak is kind of bait - the forest as you said is the next area you can do a lot in (THEN HP) so you're headed in the right direction. I love the horror aspect of heavens peak and the forest, fantasy horror is pretty uncommon. As far as money goes you'll be able to get a decent amount in heavens peak once you can progress and the area after the forest. At that point you'll probably have at least one better smelter making the first low-key pointless. (What you have on rn is steel, only purchase a new weapon if you want it otherwise upgrade what you have) I highly suggest doing armor first and then your helmet and then a weapon- you can always upgrade a piece later after you build it so keep that in mind. The most important factor in smelting is having immaculate drip, more important than any stat boost. Agree on walk speed it's mildly improved in the second game iirc. I'm sure you can mod it in. Ok I'll stop it there, so glad you're enjoying the game!
