Glad you talked about friendzone attachment. I’ve seen several videos lately of women complaining that they lost their friend-zoned friend to another woman that is marrying or dating them. Sh!t is selfish and bogus.

Even though I'm married I find these videos fascinating. Its like a map to my past and reverse engineering my relationships and my behavior. I have been mostly the bad boy to women but also was friend zoned as well. I even went from bad boy to husband material to friend zone with one of my exes. Its interesting to analyze it. For instance I went from husband zone aka this woman wanted to marry me to friend zone after getting severely sick for almost 2 years in my early 20s she gave up on me because Ill admit it was a pathetic time in my life. I've been with my wife since middle school, so I only have experience from one relationship. This sound quite spot on though, the chart is very well thought out. I have been struggling to understand women for so long. I'm a very "by the numbers" and logic based guy and need to see or know parameters for conditions. No offense, but version 3 is cluttered and looks like a wall of text. Sometimes brevity or simplicity are key to communication, and key to art making an impression, especially when it comes to memes. I think version 2 went viral because it communicates more at a glance, and it has more style, while version 3 is less visually pleasing, less cute, and, like I said, kind of looks cluttered, like everything is crammed into less space. Sometimes you just nail something and it's not an improvement to redesign it. "Lightning in a bottle." Like when George Lucas made those "special editions" that made the classic Star Wars movies worse. Anyway, that's meant to be my constructive criticism. Or maybe if you want to expand it to include more information, consider using a large sheet of sketch paper, which would still allow you to keep the original artistic design elements, which were effective, and keep the negative space, which made it easier to tell sections apart in version 2 and made it look less like just a block of text.

This is like a 4 year study on modern relationships in under 1/2 hour. Absolute genius! Should be mandatory study in high schools. Incredible amount of clarity and content. This chart should be sold as a poster so everyone that become confused and bewildered can look at it at length and apply it to their experience and gain clarity. Of course, at the end of the day, there’s the Bullshit Level. This is the accumulative amount of complexity and confusion that will eventually make a person question whether the relationship is worth continuing or not. At that point, it’s already over and just the miserable denouement needs to play out.

It goes some way to explain the lopsided efforts of society towards gender equality as well. If women say "I don't particularly want to be a housewife and make dinners and change diapers and things," it doesn't interfere with men's attraction strategy, so the fallout is pretty marginal. Whereas if men say, " I don't particularly want to be a breadwinner, I don't want to risk my skin to keep my family safe and I can't be bothered to accumulate status," then they lose so much investment and masculinity that they become not-people. Women's attraction strategy is at odds with real gender equality, and any societal progress in that direction funnels women towards situationships with the few wealthy and highly masculine guys left. And unsurprisingly this puts strain on both objectives, with women feeling surrounded by low value males and men feeling that feminism is two-faced garbage.

Here's my own take on this: When describing the man they want they only describe the qualities necessary for a man to be a good husband (good sense of morals, loyalty, leadership, a good provider, etc.) the Marriage/M-qualities you could say, the one's represented on the "good guy"/security scale on the video, but they never considered that said potential man would or would not have the qualities that make men attractive to them, the ones that make women aware of said men in the first place, the A-qualities, represented in the video by the "bad guy"/attachment scale. That's why women never consider the attraction qualities and ignore men who are high on the good guy scale and easily fall for the guys high on the bad guy scale even though they're low on the former scale, because in their minds if men don't have the A-qualities then they might as well not exist or they think that if they don't outwardly show A-qualities then they can't have the M-qualities. One part of this is because in their minds unless a man is outwardly showing said qualities to the world for all to see then it means that said man doesn't possess them in the first place. However there are four things they don't understand: First: Regarding both these qualities there are three types of men, those with only A-qualities but no M-qualities known as the bad guys, those with M-qualities but no A-qualities known as the "nice" guys and men who possess both qualities, the ones known as Good Men. Second: Most men who only have M-qualities during their youth won't develop A-qualities until their mid adulthood if they ever do and those who possess A-qualities won't develop M-qualities until their late adulthood if they ever do, wich is more rare than the former scenario. The men who are able to develop both qualities in an equal/balanced measurement are rare. Third: women erroneously believe that they can get a man with high A-qualities to develop the M-qualities but they can't. Women can't change men, they can only support and help a man while he's developing and improving himself if he actually wants to and is willing to put the work inn. They don't understand that a bad guy has no incentives to change his attitude since said attitude is the very reason low quality women initiate relationships with them. Why would they change the very thing that's gotten so many women and said women are basically validating it? And fourth: Men who have M-qualities or both aren't goint to outwardly show either of them. They will keep said qualities "close to their chest" and won't outwardly show them because said M-qualities naturally temper mens actions and teach them not to show said qualities on their sleeves for the world to see because it might attract unwanted attention. This is why men who have A-qualities but not M-qualities will outwardly show the former because they don't have the latter qualities to temper them. Also because they know that outwardly showing A-qualities will make it easier to get the attention of women who are easy to "engage" with in an intimate manner without commitment, women who men high in the "good man" scale would want nothing to do with. To put it in simple words in most women's eyes a man who qualifies as a "prince charming" would look like someone who only qualifies for the "husband zone" and someone in the "husband zone" would look like someone who only qualifies in the "friend zone" and so on. So in short most women are easily attracted to men who only have A-qualities but not M-qualities and erroneously belive they can get them to develop the latter, but they can't. And men with both qualities are basically invincible to them because they don't outwardly show them and most women won't take the time/don't have the temperament and patience to verify if they do, which is what dating is ment to be for in the first place.

One thing I really love about this channel is that it doesn't come off as entirely one-sided. You try to convey the female perspective as well, and I think that's the huge thing missing from a lot of others that just point out the flaws in women or flaws in men. The balance makes it come off really genuine and honest, and gives really good advice in general. This is the kind of video I would genuinely want to share with my female friends.

The zones map section of the women's "I can't believe I ever...ick" part explains false sexual assault allegations too. They don't want anyone to think they ever willingly slept with THAT guy or engaged in THAT behavior, so they lie about it instead. And no, I'm not saying all women do this or that all allegations are false. I'm sure this comment won't matter, but it's here as a disclaimer anyway.

Values are an incredibly important factor to two people being attracted to one another, especially for lifetime partners. I actually think it may be the most important factor. For example, I am a Christian - if I am only open to marrying another Christian, I can be 90% certain we will share the same values, because all Christian’s who follow the religion will all believe in and share the same values. I know this from experience, my ex was not a Christian however she had Christian values, so we were compatible. But because she had some non-Christian values, for example different opinions on abortion, sex, marriage etc, we would argue and not agree on topics we were extremely passionate about. This is part of the reason we are not together anymore. Sharing the same values is the reason people connect, make groups and relationships, it’s scientifically proven that we are attracted to people who are similar to us. I think this is why it is important to unapologetically be yourself, that way you will signal to other people who share your values that you’re compatible. It also helps filter out people who you’re not compatible with and will probably make you miserable because they behave in ways that go against your values.

I would replace the word "Attraction" on the Bad Boy line with "Arousal". If you ask a woman what they are attracted to they'll describe Nice Guy traits. Women are attracted to the things that provide them with security, but those things don't get them wet. It's the Bad Boy traits (power, status, masculinity...) that get them sexually aroused. Women can be sexually aroused by men that aren't physically or financially attractive but have massive amounts of Bad Boy traits. That guy that just got out prison still gets women.

1 word, OUTSTANDING! The Years of experience, introspection, emotional upheavals, trying to figure it out, and research shows.

I feel like I keep finding new ways to be pessimistic about this whole dating thing. What I'm getting from the chart - perhaps erroneously - is that for women, all you have to do is be yourself, you get your score, and then you can live with the knowledge that you know where you stand. You can then choose to stay or to leave. Simple. For men, however, it just feels like you have to dive into the deep end and make sure that you have the correct confluence of all factors that may be attractive by doing heaps and heaps of personal work that could ultimately mean you're nothing but a booty call because no one else wants your particular confluence. Many of both the bad boy requirements and the good guy requirements aren't even about you but how other people who aren't her feel about you. You now have to win over a whole village of men and women to even maximise your attractiveness and security. It can't just be about us. I have to be a paragon of humanity to be ever be her prince charming, and a lot of the bad boy requirements seem like I have to give in to a great deal of delulu to even pull off. Then again, maybe it's just me with a messed up perception of the issue, but it just shows me how much work I have left to do to even be wanted while a woman - who also has to do work - has to do so much less.
