Great video! It's insane how overcomplicated Zoom + Miro made this. IMHO the sharing feature is useless. How is it different than sharing a browser/or native app where you have Miro? What problem are they trying to solve? The sending is yet another thing the facilitator has to do/that can go wrong. This looked so promising when they first introduced the idea. Way too clunky. I'll continue sharing the link in the chat lol Thanks for the review. BTW I tested it today and the whole thing is still the same and resizing (when sending) is kind of meh... other tools will take this opportunity space and will allow video calls + interactive whiteboards. Perhaps even Miro which has a (poor from what I've seen) video call integrated in the whiteboard.
Thanks for the precious comment! Indeed I'm also still struggling with Apps. If, as a facilitator, you are using an app with a new audience, you have to tell everyone to install it (if they can), so it's more complicated than sending them a link in the chat to an external source. For now the only use I see is within a group of people who are regularly meeting and they all work consistently on an app, e.g. Miro for a project update. Launching it from Zoom cuts down one step. But is it worth it? Probably not yet. However, they now have the platform and let's see if they will further develop it and if it will start making sense in the future.
