Sorry for the noob question but I have not used the H5 yet - so if I record in stereo mode and use the "In1/2 Mono Mix" function it does create ONE combined file for both inputs instead of two files, is that correct? So in editing I would not be able to treat both inputs separately but rather would have to cut the one file I have (for example in a dialogue setting, depending on who is speaking I would cut the file there and then make adjustments, and I would have to go through the whole dialogue and cut the file on all instances)? Thanks for your video!

Yes, in Stereo Mode you will get one file that has two channels (normally a left and right) but the audio from the two inputs will be summed and that same audio will appear on both channels. It will effectively sound like a mono recording, although you have two channels. When you pull the file into your editing software you can treat it as a mono file since both voices will appear in the middle (assuming you're listing on headphones or two speakers). If you want to keep the two voices separate (so that you can have each voice on its own track in your editor, don't use the In1/2 Mono Mix, You can then easily split the file into two mono files, alternatively, record in Multifile mode and you will automatically get separate files for Inputs 1 and 2. I hope that helps.
