"S Safety Rating" Edit: The amount of people thinks I am on controller but I'll take that as a complement as this was on keyboard. Edit2: The shifting you see is called "Power Shifting", a Forza quirk and the fastest way to shift in this game. Yes it is not pretty but it is the fastest method. Edit3: Short shifting because the engine loses a lot of power at high RPM. This engine makes peak power at mid-range and the gear ratios is adjusted to maintain constant peak power. Edit4: This is a video game, not real life and the game doesn't care about your real life driving experiences. It has it own quirks.

The Daytona is the definition of putting all your eggs in one basket.

The Daytona NASCAR top speed is actually 217mph when in straight line (it's called Bonneville Record) And to me it's sad to see that almost no game features the Daytona racecar. They all feature it's street car which is cool, but the NASCAR version looks insane

I'm pretty sure matchmaking is based on your skill rating first AND THEN your safety rating. Doesn't matter if that mfer is E, if he's 4900+ he'll be in your lobby

No wonder why they banned Charger Daytona/Plymouth Superbird in NASCAR back there

I did like 5 hours of testing with a friend online to see how the penalty system works. 1. If you hit someone when THEYRE on the breaks and THEY go off. You get penalized. 2. If you hit THEM while THEYRE OFF the breaks and THEY go off. You don’t get any penalty. 3. The largest penalty comes from remaining in contact while pushing someone off. It’s 4 seconds and lowers your rating immediately. 4. If you want to race and bump people, break early and tap late into the corner or you’ll receive penalties. 5. If you want to avoid being touched and also give the highest penalty to a bad driver. Always take the outside line when they try to pass. If they do bump you break and they will go off. If they don’t bump you and pass you, bump them as they’ll have to be off the breaks and it won’t give you an penalties. Basically it ONLY penalize the bad driver if they also get messed up the crash. They can rear end you and keep going without any off track. They won’t get penalized. Broken system. The person who breaks early get punished and the one who breaks late and shoves everyone gets zero penalties

An old xbox racing buddy of mine had a perfect grip tune of this monster. It was not uncommon to see this behemoth do 2:05 on a consistent basis on any track. Such a magical sight to see.

Problem with the games safety rating is ppl just ram n cheat all day, then set everything on auto and let it do its thing to get back to a s rating

It's truly majestic how this man wheel's his yacht. He puts the power down so well. He knows his machine down to the core.

This really was a feat, trying to save those turns and hold the oversteering at high speeds with an S2000 on tow would make me lose my mind.

I can see someone making a Hemi like this into a 200mph monster while still being in C-class, but I’m impressed that Parked Panda managed to build an S2000 capable of competing with this monster.

This has been a thing at Le Mans in Forza for years, very low grip muscle car with absurd HP tuned for top speed. Extremely fun

To be fair, that car seems to be quite heavy, under and oversteering in both regards. Driving that car at that speed with that precision is true mastery. You have my respect

The speed these cars take those turns at make me feel really proud of that one time my brake line gave out and I had to take a 90 degree turn at 60mph in a minivan

That S2000 was a beast in the straights. The Daytona was made for a track like Old Lemans. My S2000 is tuned to B class, and it would have trouble keeping up on the straights 😂

This has always been my favorite part of racing online in forza just seeing how the different cars strengths and weaknesses play out over the course of a lap

Sacrificing handling for top speed is so much more fun. I do this on as many tracks as I can for a better challenge. If I don't win then fine, but I've had a great time trying. There's something so satisfying about fighting with others around corners only to blow past them again on the straights.

I was seeing about 190 on the speedometer and going "damn thats fast for c class" Then i realized its in MILES

as someone who has raced on keyboard and controller, i can tell this was played on keyboard. really good racing i only know a few other people that are as good as you on keyboard.

Finally someone who shifts properly. So many Forza youtubers just redline all cars because ''it's faster'' without ever checking where the peaks and falls are in the powerband. Some excellent driving too, especially knowing this is on keyboard

Ken Miles? That you? Seriously good driving though, especially that first lap going from practically last to podium in one quick jog down the straight. That car, with its Nascar setup, was designed for that until it got retired almost immediately after and I can see why Richard Petty loved it so.

What people don't understand, you can have a decent amount of power without the handling and still be able to control it at lower performance levels if you know how to be easy on the throttle and not just mash it constantly
