Honestly, because Clawhauser has never done anything to hurt anyone. He was completely collateral damage. Nick routinely worked the system to his favour. He strove to break the law without TECHNICALLY doing anything wrong. And his crimes were not without victims, popsicle sticks being sold as redwood IS a misrepresentation. He may not be a villain but he's certainly not squeaky clean. Clawhauser is friendly and bubbly and easy to like. So seeing him lose his position based on having done absolutely nothing wrong stings. It's a reminder of the collateral damage when new laws are passed. People who have done everything right get screwed over time and time again. It's just too damn real. Poor Clawhauser. On another note my friend and I got into a HUGE argument over whether he was a leopard or a cheetah I'm like... he's a cheetah, that's the joke because he's not fast. *facepalm* She eventually conceded but I was like... leopards do not look like cheetahs!

It's not really a progression over time. It's low register in 1 video and then drastically higher in the next (this 1), because she decided to switch over after practicing voice training, to be more comfortable.
