I mean even tho its a "gag" they can still technically do it on their own if wanted. Gear 5th gave Luffy the ability of freedom to do whatever he imagined and whatever he wanted. So him using snakeman in base shouldn't be surprising. As for Zoro, Ashura is a technique he created, so technically he can use it however and whenever he pleases. If he wants to use it to cut kaido, that his choice, if he wants to use it to eat food 3x times faster, thats his choice. He is in full control of the technique and how he uses it.

@@isaiahjohnson6951 Pretty sure that its not Snakeman Properly, If it was, those servers would be more than just startled/knocked down. He just bounced his arm without doing the other things that actually make it dangerous. Snakeman is the rebounding Pistol, but with the haki reinforcement and inflating bones causing it to basically be a pneumatic piston. This is just a trick shot.

Zoro's greatest boon is Oden's sword no doubt, but knowing G5 luffy he's probably just grab whatever cut Zoro would send and fling it back or something. They're strong, but Luffy is just stronger

Could have been even funnier if they blew some budget on some of the top tier animators and made it look crisp and clean, but it was still great.

Ashura kinda just feels like a gimmick that Zoro dropped after a point. It looks cool no doubt. But if he has moves that accomplished the same feats of cutting speed. I don't really see the point of using it. It seems to be framed conceptually like super Saiyan 3. Might seem to make him stronger. But would also devour his stamina to quickly. If we say ashura is Zoro using energy to vibrate/move his arms and head to appear as multiples.

I think snakeman just makes it faster and easier to use that. He can still use it. Because its a skill not some flashy move

@@skellq4385 Not a concrete proof, since anyone can use Haki. Haki users just use it when they want, but even people who are not familiar with it can use it. A great example of this is Luffy using Conqueror's and Observation Haki in the Summit War saga, or just Ussop using Observation Haki on Dressrosa. There's even a chance of Rokushiki's Tekkai being Armament Haki, explaining why it was such a problem to the strawhats, ESPECIALLY Luffy. There's multiple scenes of Ussop being able to see stuff no one could, potentially being Obv. Haki. A example of this is him being the only one to know about GM's presence in EL.

And plus, that was mainly just a fluke. 3. If it really was acoc, kaku would not even be able to get near him before his neck was shattered just hy hitting him, as remember, acoc works as an extremely powerful barrier. 3. Tekkai strengthens your muscles, it cannot be haki.
