Buggy's Japanese VA is known for doing Adlib in Fight scenes 😂

That's because the CC are tied to the captions on English. I don't think netflix does closed captions on other languages instead of English dub. It's really annoying watching any anime on there platform because if a series has a English dub which is 90% of it, they'll be CC on the english ver making it annoying if yuo ever plan on watching anything in Japanese's

@@robertvalenica8999 That's true in many cases, but I've seen other occasions where it goes the other way around (particularly with “One Piece” (the anime)). You're watching the English dub but the captions would only follow the Japanese script.

But there are some VAs that are new in this series. One of them is Takeuchi Ryota-san as VA of original Mr. 7. On the other hand, Hiura Ben-san is given as VA of Zeff (since Yada Koji-san died in 2014). Quite sad for some VAs who died before it was released.

I think is thanks the more Western like style of writting and development a story. Even in the CGI Remake of Saint Seiya they have try to use better some characters than the Original Version.

I would assume he needed to be at a certain range to actually put his ear in Luffy’s hat first. From then on he can can hear from it regardless of range since sensory functions don’t seem to be limited by range

Well they didn't let us do Full Metal Alchemist and Attack On Titan even though those most of the characters in those shows are eruopeans. I'm honestly surprised they allowed One Piece.

Actually, I watched the whole thing in the Japanese dub. The translations were _mostly_ spot on. I was legitimately shocked, because yeah, normally Japanese localizations are equally as poor as English game localizations, with changed, discarded, or invented dialogue. The only changes made to the Japanese dub are kind of subtle and mostly aimed at bringing individual characterizations closer to the anime/manga. _That said,_ the _Japanese subtitles for the English version_ are f'n atrocious. Just as bad as you'd imagine. Maybe worse.

It's a region thing. My Netflix doesn't have it either. Which is a shame because I would definitely rewatch the show if the Japanese Dub was featured.

Go to user settings from the user selection just at the boot screen, select language as japanese and it should pop up as an option when watching. The downside is that all the text becomes kanji so be sure to remember the order of the options to put it back to english or whatever

​@@BrokenSoulConfessionDaiRugger XV was given the name "Vehicle Voltron" here, but Voltron I believe is called "GoLeon" back in Japan. The two series have no connections aside from both being Voltron here, hence why they are so different.

In fact, the ONLY thing they have going for them is the similar designs on the character, which led to one of the Vehicle Voltron guys being the brother of one of the Animal Voltron guys (Pitch, the Green Lion is brother of Chip, one of the 15 pilots; they look pretty similar though).

@@BrokenSoulConfession That's Vehicle Voltron. Lion Voltron goes by the name Golion. Then there's Voltron III or Gladiator Voltron that was going to be Arbegas, but Vehicle Voltron's discontinuation led to its cancellation.
