What else can I use other than the oil you mentioned that you don't see in my country? Is there any chance of breaking the fan while removing it? It seems difficult to remove.
Definitely be careful removing fan, it is possible to break it but honestly it was pretty simple and easy to do. I have done 3x GPUs now no problem. Not sure what other lubricant you can use, probably anything similar to what I have in the video is best. Stay away from WD-40.
I'm in the US. I bought them from these guys... www.gpufanreplacement.com/ I have no affiliation with them but my fans came in about a week and they worked totally fine. I bought 3 sets of fans for my Zotac cards and everything seems to be working good still.
Ya I was having some grinding type noises, then eventually they stopped altogether. I actually ended up replacing the fans on two of them. The one in this video, this trick worked. I bought fans from these guys, best price I could find and decent delivery time to the US. www.gpufanreplacement.com/products/zotac-geforce-rtx-3070-3080ti-3090-amp-holo-fan-replacement?_pos=1&_sid=00cf42d8d&_ss=r
@@AlphaMineDefi I don’t live in the us and I have this problem on a 3070 zotac amp holo 2 fan version. I have 2 items that may help and I’m in a low income household. I have Vaseline and all weather bike lube. What would you recommend more?
@@JuicedNRGY The lube I bought in the video was only a few dollars, I would definitely recommend that lubricant and not something like WD-40, vaseline, or bike lube. Not sure what country you are in but if you have amazon or some other hardware store I bet you can order the 3 in 1 lube from the video online very cheap.
