This extension brings the notes from zotero to notion, but not the other way around. you can still add your own text in a column of the template, like I show at the end of the video, but these will not be synced back to zotero. Hope it helps
This is so cool! Thank you! I did all the steps presumably and it is syncing well. However, every time it syncs, a pop-up window tells me "Type error: this.itemProgress.setlcon is not a function". It is working so I am confused about this error message. Would greatly appreciate any guidance on this.
found this recommendation on the release notes for the latest version of notero and resolved the issue for me so hopefully helps: If you receive the following error: "APIResponseError: property is not a property that exists" This can happen if you previously synced items into one Notion database and then change your Notero preferences to specify a different database. Notero may be trying to update pages in the old database instead of creating pages in the new database, and this error can occur if different properties were configured in the different databases. To solve this, you should delete the old database in Notion and then permanently delete it from the Trash in Notion.
@@demurebrat-i6r Thank you so much!! I already deleted the database but didn't delete it from trash. Once I deleted it from trash, the problem is resolved.
Hello! After updating Zotero (Zotero 7.0.2), Notero has stopped syncing and in the Zotero Plugins Manager it says "Notero (disabled). Notero is incompatible with Zotero 7.0.2.". How can I solve this without loosing all the work done (have databases related to the notero database ...)? Thank you!
Unfortunately I have no idea and I have to look into it. If the original Notero also no longer works, there is no much I can do. If Notero works, I can pull the latest version and update the Notero+Notes fork... quick question for you: if you downgrade your Zotero, does it still work?
Hello ! Thanks for the video, I was exaclty looking for a Notero that allowed notes to synchronise too. I followed the tutorial, unfortunately at the end when I click in Zotero on "synchronise with Notion", the following error appears: "ZoteroNotes is not a property that exists. Citation Key is not a property that exists. Collections is not a property that exists. Date is expected to be date. Date Added is not a property that exists. Date Modified is not a property that exists. Editors is not a property that exists. Extra is not a property that exists. File Path is not a property that exists. Place is not a property that exists. Proceedings Title is not a property that exists. Publication is not a property that exists. Series Title is not a property that exists. Short Title is not a property that exists." What should I do to make it work ?
Thank you for the feedback and I am sorry that it did not work... I have not sufficiently tested the plugin to be able to immediately pinpoint the error, but my suspect is that you might be using a different template for Notion that does not include the ZoteroNotes field or that perhaps the original Notero plugin is still loaded. If you want, you might want to report the issue here with a few more details to replicate the error: github.com/makinteract/notero-notes/issues . I will try to install the plugin on another machine and check whether it is an error on my side :-(
It's also happen to me when I was moving the File in notion to different folder. I then check the connection and found that the "Notero" connection in the notion has lost. I then click to reconnect the file to "Notero" the step in 8:05 and it works properly! Hope this help.
