@@kryzzan7039 you can also get it in that sir hans dlc mission on the baths when he asks you to leave your clothe in a chest or smth you can find the sword in the same chest with sir hans clothing
I might have died in another hit though, I had no plate on because of the claustrophobic debuff from HC mode and I wanted the evasion buff/fast move speed. I love how focused I need to get when fighting without plate since it only takes 1-3 hits to die against well equipped enemies.
"You should have taken a wooden sword sir, to give the poor bastard a chance!" Mate, the joke didn't land the first time, no one is going to laugh the next 6 times you repeat it if they didn't the first.
@@masyali1 I made a joke, daggers are common in a medieval setting, they should have them in KCD. KCD is not difficult, if you can’t make an effort to learn the game how can you immerse yourself? Real life is hard, Dark souls ain’t hard either.
@@masyali1 If you cannot attack with a dagger in KCD then how have I killed so many enemies with my dagger in KCD? Unless you don't count stealth kill as an attack but I always thought of it as a valid move within dishonourable Henry's book of pranks.
Hungry guy completely destroy old man in a sword fight then honorably shoots arrow in the back of His head and proceeds to run eventually coming back for his armor. The plot twist is incredible.
I never realized that the dialogue for when you beat and not kill him directly alludes to another DLC or story event in the sequel involving the Zoul Family. Glad to see they left some hints they are going to continue the story.
@Average смешарики enjoyer the developers have said they're working on a sequel for a couple years now. They're a small team, so it takes a while to finish a game.
A highly trained knight in full plate and shield vs a peasant with an arming sword and gambeson. In real life this would have been over in moments, you can do almost nothing with a 1h sword against full plate. But then again, Henry is the murderous superhuman hobo we all secretly want to be
The Henry in this video has a gambeson, chest brigandine, and combat jacket giving him very good chest armour, just very poor arm/leg/head armour. Also he is a highly skilled assassin who has a lot of experience in fights and had most quests completed at the time of this video being made. A knight in full armour moves much slower than a lightly armoured man so I don't think it would be over in moments.
@@montyyardley from personal experience (fighting in medieval armor) I can assure you that an arming sword does almost nothing against full plate. You can just ignore the blows from your enemy and start bashing, even more so when having a shield. And especially legs and arms are easy targets, one or two hits and Henry would be unable to continue the fight. But you are correct, full plate makes you slower and the stamina drain is also an important factor
@@aggressivli The instant you started comparing a video game to real life was a mistake. Also you are again pretending this Henry is a peasant even though he is a hardened veteran vs an old man wearing full plate. Either way Jesus Christ be praised!
@@aggressivli the blade of arming swords do very little against armor, but thats why swords got pointy ends you can jab into places not protected by plate. combine that with mobility and perhaps some top tier wrestling moves and the knight might as well be toast against a skilled opponent. there is a reason why knights almost always preferred to fight on horseback, as it limited the risk of some hulk hogan looking dude chokeslamming you and shoving 6 inches of sharp steel into your visor.
RU-vid has stopped showing most of my videos to potential viewers because less than 1% of my viewers are subscribed and very few people click the like button. This is probably mostly my fault because I haven't been asking anyone to do so but if you enjoy my content I hope you can take the time to subscribe and like my videos. I have been releasing a video daily and I plan on continuing to do so but none of my new videos are getting more than a few views anymore. Feel free to tell me your opinion on my channel here, I'm open to criticism and I read every comment I get on any of my videos. Thank you for watching.
Idk what went wrong when I did this DLC, but the whole crew and I were going to go out in a blaze of glorious combat against Zoul's party. The lads took up arms, and swiftly sheathed their weapons, charging Zoul's men with their fists. They all died. I was left to fight the entire party alone. It took forever. I would sprint from the field into the road and treeline at the rear and slowly isolate men and wack them with my greatsword. Zoul and I had a bloody duel in those woods and that's where I killed him. I returned to the field to pick off the rest. I picked them clean of their valuables and walked to the nearest settlement.
@@jacobotstot2021 You are both correct. Decade simply means 10 year span. There is no definition on how you use word, could be 10 years back from this moment or could be 10 year group from calendar 2000-2010, 2010-2020 and so forth.
When i fought him i had the full set of gold trimmed armor, Sir Radzigs hood and the Herod's sword. It was a glorious dual. Now i wear his helmet as a trophy.
I wish they would make a sequel or just re define this one make it bigger and more to do. Maybe you can rise up and be a ruler or be a bandit a knight ya know .
That is the outer garment called "Black combat jacket" which I found on a bandit which spawns in Skallitz (after you complete the prologue and end up at the mill in Rattay you can return to Skallitz to find random encounters which can have high level bandits)
For feints you start pulling back your weapon and quickly switch to a different direction before letting go of your attack button. It takes practice but isn't too hard once you figure out the feeling. It seems to help if you move while drawing back your weapon (for example move towards them) Combat just takes a lot of practice. I recommend you go back to Captain Bernard, unequip all of your gear, and choose to practice with a shortsword without a shield. This way you will take no damage and can practice for as long as you like. I have spent at least 12 hours practising with him (over around 10 playlines) because not only is it a good way to level combat stats but it is also great practice for combat because Captain Bernard seems to be as strong as a lv 15 or so bandit. This task might sound intimidating but if you start by just learning how to do master strikes (ripostes) you will be able to kill most mid level bandits without too much trouble. This should only take 1-2 hours of practice to become decent at it. After that you can decide if you enjoy the combat enough to spend the time it takes to be able to memorize attack distances, character positioning, know the attack times to predict when you will be hit by enemies behind you in order to riposte their attacks even though you cannot see them, player stamina management, enemy stamina management, memorize the attack angles which cause damaging ripostes, evasion, and combos. There is a lot to think about and personally I enjoyed every second of learning it. Just make sure that you start killing bandits after awhile because training with Captain Bernard can get very boring after a couple hours. He gives a good quest line for eradicating bandit camps. I have a 1h long video of me training with Captain Bernard on my channel. tldr; It takes a lot of practice but is very fun in my opinion.
Yes I completely agree that it is much easier when using a mace since he is in full plate and headcracker is OP. I just didn't want to ruin my roleplaying experience by switching to a weapon this Henry would never use lol
Now that I watched, I have the motivation to defeat Zoul and all of his man all alone. I already did that, but didn't recorded it. But u put up a good show against Zoul, maybe killing him while he isn't watching and steal his clothes while his man are chasing u is a bit cruel, but Henry isn't a noble man so he don't have any honor or what so ever.
I have over 300 hours on this game but I’ve never got further than the first large scale battle, in my most recent save I’ve not even started the main quest but I’m max level or almost max in combat, thievery, stealth, archery and many other skills besides speech. One day I’ll beat the story line but before then I’ll probably start a hardcore save and grind every skill to max again.
The Henry in this video had lv18 archery and around lv12-18 of the stealth/lockpick/pickpocket skills before I started the main story. You should definitely try out HC, it's a blast
@Monty Yardley you should try sprinting behind Zoul right as you have control of Henry, you can assasinste him from behind with a dagger before he even draws his sword, it's so funny.
@@IFibreOpticI Great idea! I'm currently making a new dishonourable Henry (the one featured in this video died when I accidentally wiped my hard drive a few months ago) so I'll try backstabbing him the next time I reach there.
I mean yes and no, by technicality he did partake in guerilla warfare alongside some other notable figures at the time, mainly against the house of Rosenberg, which landed him in that classification. But at the same time by the end of his life he was installed as Burgrave of Vyšehrad by Wenceslaus, which seems like an odd thing to do if he was fully considered a robber Baron. Interestingly tho Hanush’s real life counterpart had much more of a reputation of being one, but similarly was also given the fancy title of Supreme Marshal of Bohemia in his later life. The story painted here is pretty muddy on what was really going down, which I why I assume they chose this specific time and these specific figures. After all, who doesn’t like a bit of creative freedom lol.
Just a thing guys Is WAAAAYYY more worthy to try to convice that mercenary to help you If you do, you'll face 9 medium leveled bandits with a high level knight while having the help out of 6 high level mercs Like, you can kill the bandits with 2-3 hits AND you can take 6K Coins out of the corpse that was suposed to hand it to that guy
Fack honour, I want his helmet. I’m playing hardcore all de-buffs right now, it’s an absolute shame I’ll lose 7 stab and slash, saying that tho, when I get to final levels of combat, might make it a bit more fair.
