My favourite part of this game was riding my horse, picking flowers and listening to the birds.

i got tired of doing this sneakily so i just slaughtered everyone, then stole all the weapons, armor, lit all arrows on fire and poisoned all the food. they all respawned when the siege time came...

Even though this game cane out less than a year ago, I already feel sorta nostalgic watching this. KCD really is such a fantastic game

Ah yes, I remember doing this mission in the night and when it was time to leave I circled around by a stream in the forest that led to the road to Talmberg. I was quite certain that nobody was around, since it was a random area in the forest so I sprinted. Little did I know... THE BUSHES IN THIS GAME HAVE EARS AND EYES AND SPEAK HUNGARIAN

This is one of my favourite games by far, it's so realistic and keeps you entertained for hours

That's cool that you can do this, when I did this quest I killed the whole camp with bow and arrows, then I poisoned the food and burnt the arrows afterwards just so Sir Radzig would give me that extra pat on the head

After blowing my disguise, I just rushed B like a madman while torching some arrow barrels, hahahaha

When I went to the camp I killed them all, I was massively disappointed when I later came back with Radzig only to find out that they all respawned and nobody even acknowledged what I did

I LOVE how you did this "Properly" Meanwhile, I just rode through the place on a horse(accidentally got caught outside the camp and figured id just go for it) at full gallop, hitting a few key points for the scouting, bullshitted lord Radzig(and were mostly accurate, though I underestimated their numbers slightly I think) and got away with it, all in all, much less graceful then this!

03:36 this moment was very funny, because in my gameplay Henry had the most charismatic clothes on him: green noble hat, orange shirt, red jacket, yellow hood, and green-yellow pants. Truly the master of stealth!

you can also run accross the bridge into the lower camp, put the arrows on fire and flee away ... naked, on a horse :-)

Never knew the game allowed you to disguise yourself. That's so cool but I prefer the way I handled this quest. Waited until dark and sneaked into their camp. Silently murdering 30 of their number before being discovered and taking out another 15 then swiftly making my exit. This quest was probably my favourite so far. Between that section and the battle that follows, just awesome.

heh. I murdered everybody head on. Was curious to see how you were actually supposed to do it. I've seen a few sneaky and creative ways. I actually had to deal with them twice since I stumbled into that camp on my own while roaming the forests. Even after the rebalanced combat patches, I found you could lure them into the moat so they had to murderqueue 1 by 1 in the tightest spot. Second time I just grabbed a halberd and changed in. Those things are still crazy OP.

Huh. So it turns out there was a better way than waiting till night and still waking up the whole camp by madly dashing around in a panic torching barrels on my way out.

Picking this game back up after a long hiatus. I had no idea this was an option. Fuck me did Warhorse do an incredible job on this game. Truly a living world w/ so many possibilities.

And I was fucking sneaking around in the middle of the night and taking 3 hours to poison all the food and burn the arrows. FML dude, I thought this game ran on like Skyrim rules where even if you wear the enemy armor they just magically look through it. Oh btw theres a Bandit that was carrying like 43 Fearnot swords on him so I at least made it out of that camp rich as a Mofo

Shit's even funnier when Henry kills the whole camp then proceeds to stroll around sabotaging the arrows and food pots.

I remember how I did this. I set up my horse close to the bridge as a getaway before killing the two scout cumans and wearing one of there outfits as a disguise (literally equipping only the things that cuman had). Scouted around the camp and then went to poison and sabotage both camps (leaving the cuman camp last) before legging it down the bridge galloping off on pebbles the getaway driver

I once stealth killed every bandit and cuman here. It was quite funny when everyone was shouting "ALARM!!" and had no idea of what was happening. One by one, they fell before the might of Henry!

I NEVER knew you could do this… this game is truly the definition of a well thought out and fantastic game.

man this game wild i went into this town in the middle of the night and killed about 50 people while they sleeped

got lost in the woods but somehow still stumbled into their camp... I went and killed all of them and the cutscene didn't even trigger for me.

I love that they were sparing the guy and he found no better than to kickstart his mon demise.

That's a cool quest, but can be bit frustrating if you wanna be thorough. That's because you pretty much have limited time inside. You can only get away from 3 questionings from cumans. You can spy the camp without attracting them, but to poison and light the arrows you need to get close to them, and whether you'll be able to do these things is purely based on luck, where they will be at the moment. Cause you can't wait for them to move, as you will be questioned by the nearest cuman.

That persuating options with cumans are so funny :D

It would have been nice to know this was a thing considering I just ran in hoping I wouldn’t get hit too many times until I completed the objective

Why would you begin by letting that Cuman talk to you? You only get three encounters and then the fourth one gets you caught. Use that fact to your advantage to lure Cumans off away from the others. Don't let them get too close, but don't break line of sight. Walk slowly toward the woods or a secluded area. Keep walking until the Cuman stops, then when he turns around to go back to camp, stealth kill him from behind (you have stealth kill perk unlocked, right? That's a must-have perk.) Do this, one-by-one, until all the Cumans are dead. It doesn't take long at all, and it feels good to achieve. If you want to kill all the bandits it requires a different strategy because they don't want to talk to you. Definitely don't waste your three undetected contacts like this though. You're probably gonna need at least one or two to for accidentally letting a couple Cumans get too close while trying to lure them away. It's easy to accidentally let happen, and it's even easier to get sucked into a dialogue unfairly when you walk behind a Cuman who shouldn't have even seen you- it happens. Don't waste a single free contact like this.

Definitely going to try this on my second playthrough. :)

For anyone trying to get into the tower, you can just gallop the horse and jump the wall quite easily. I did that the first time I came across it not knowing the gate in the camp would be closed

My fight with Runt after the camp battle started when I had like 20% health left. Kept dying. After the 50th restart, I gave up and tried to switch to my bow before he charged me. Just had time to get a shot off. Head shot. Cut to the next scene where we are sword fighting and somehow I'm like Highlander over here.

got sick of trying to stealth it so I ran through the camp lighting the arrow barrels and hopped on my horse :P

Ah KCD. It was fun. I had a horse, so I didn't bother with any of this. I just lured them to the road by shooting arrows at them, then rode up and down the road a whole bunch of times until I was able to land the tiny hit box and insta-gib them.

I tried to do this but dialogue with the cumans never triggered so I just started swinging my sword and killed a ton of cumans then dipped lmao

I did not know you could disguise yourself. I just snuck in and either poisoned people or knifed them with my dagger.

I wish I had chosen this way instead of just sneaking in at night and poisoning a pot and some arrows and therefore not getting fully praised by the outcome. Or maybe I could have used both strategies...It's really great to have these different options though. But now seeing these cutscenes and dialogue makes the impression that I did it a bit 'wrong'...Ah well, live and learn.

would be so cool if there were a way to stir up a fight between the camps, letting the bandits and cumans kill each other off. When Sir Radzig appears, they find an empty camp full of bodies.

I wonder what would happen if you got on the church wall and started shooting everyone. The door is closed so it would be hard for them to melee attack you

I got in ti the camp at night, poisoned the 3 food fires, burned the arrows and manage to kill all bandits on combat and shooting, and still in the battle mission there were a lot of them. So disapointed

I had high enough sneak and archery by the time I decided to do this quest, had a Nighthawk potion and.. pew, pew, pew, hide untill gets quiet, pew, pew, pew and... empty camp... I agree its a bit flawed...

I did this on my first play through by knocking out the guard on the right and stealing his armor. They didn't let me into the cuman part of the camp though. Lol, you missed a pot. Daniel Vavra made Mafia 1, made by the same studio and in the same engine as Hidden and Dangerous, and Hidden and Dangerous has exactly the same disguise mechanic in it, actually a little bit better because the enemy will recognize you if they stare for long enough. Daniel Vavra made this game, so I'm pretty sure he was influenced by that. H&D was the first game he worked on

I’m super late on this but confused how you manage to get in and that gear I tried disguising and didn’t work

I have tried running away from them multiple times, for some reason many gather for me quite soon.

I'm ashamed I spent 2 hours sneaking around and all I had to do was put on their armor.

Every time I go into camp get discovered and killed even when dressed as a cuman.

I just walked in after killing morlock said he sent me there than summoned my horse at the exit than ran to the arrows and pots did my stuff and the moment someone screamed hey over here i was like aight time to go

I killed them all 2 times. First time when I discovered Pribyslavitz. I waited until late moon and started Killing them while they were sleeping. Few of them started fight and I defeated them. Second time I killed them all during this quest + I did all the sabotage.
