I swear Henry is a god of war honestly. I hope they it cannon that he is able to fight off groups of men with ease, given the perks and some side quests it’s seems likely it’ll happen anyway
Games good it werent for the paperdoll clipping..my eyes hurt everytime i see the NPC walk "into" literally into another NPC body..even medieval dynasty doesnt have this issue..XD but i gues its normal for an old game with no beta testers
"you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir" "you should have taken a wooden sword sir"
If you use the ramparts you can kill the whole Cuman camp during the "reconneisance" mission. The amount of loot from that slaughter kept me rich the entire game.
Oh yes, I've done the same, don't remember where but probably where you said, only I used a cave to cover my ass. I've been fighting Cumans standing almost inside a cave, don't remember for how long but holy shit was I loaded with loot when I finished. Had to come back a few times, too much loot to carry at once. Is that recon mission and if you slaughter the entire camp by yourself Radzig then tells you you're mad or something? Been a few years since I've played.
lol I did this but just dragged them out of the base and kited them with bow/horse lol. not exactly the most honorable method but it def paid the bills.
I didn't pay attention to cutscenes and objectives and simply charged in to the camp, wearing a breastplate and mail. They were actually surprisingly easy, even the archers barely dented my armour even though I had mostly mail. 24 killed, Long swords have an absurd amount of reach.
This is insane...fighting the most armoured enemy in the entire game then having to fight a 1 vs 10?... honestly without cheesing the game , i don't see how you can win that.
It's quite easy with best equipment and combat level. Having sword called "Sting", which have 79 based stab dmg really helps. You need only keep stabbing your opponents and counter attack them.
@@mavess9161 yeah, you can also convince Kuno to stay and fight if you pass a (buggy) speech check, or remind him of his honor (requires you to question jakey about his betrayal and let him go)
@@chitandaeru7239 IIRC there was a speech/charisma check, maybe you have to torture him if you fail? Ik I didn't torture him and he still told me about the bribe
I checked it. In short Henry just told "I challenged Hagen to a duel but he was too strong so I run off." It looks like devs didn't prepare dialogue for this ending. It really disappointed me.
During that one mission where you have to scout out that camp full of bandits and Cuman I somehow killed them all. I was wearing the best armor I could get and had good enough skills and perks unlocked that I somehow killed them all and was on deaths door. Granted I was playing on the normal difficulty, still it was tense and I pretty much went Berserk on them like Guts.
If you talk about the one where you get captured in the end and you have to escape afterwards, i failed to escape stealth and i blasted them all via a glitch below a corridor near the wall 🤣
scallagar? the town you can buy and upgrade in the DLC? yeah I killed everyone there too :P shot arrows at the church tried to find away in there too. poisoned all food pots. burned all arrows. looted every body and left them all in their skibbies piled up on the left bridge. came back with Radzig and some how they had reinforcement :(.
I lucked out and dropped him with the headcracker on the 3rd parry. Was pretty anti-climatic. Then continued to poke all the dorks not wearing face protection in the eye.
@@nunyanunya4147I did the same but I found it to be fitting built up throughout the game just to be weak without his man and gets knocked the fuck out
It can be funny, randomly 1 shotting an important enemy, but i will say i wish i didnt select that perk. Now that i learned the combat and understand it, Headcracker kind of robs that experience every now and then.
@@armintor2826nah man if your getting jumped that perk is a god given gift. I am EXTREMELY thankful for it, because I have the best luck to Always run into/be ambushed by groups at all times aha😂
@@armintor2826 Yeah but useful as hell when you get ambushed 😂. It saved me a few times that I was getting jumped and able to knock out a few to make thr fight easier. Thankfully I also poison my weapons with lullaby to make it also a instant win in those cases. I learned the hard way that the end game goal is to live 😂
I was having a tough fight wielding a sword. I figured since he was wearing plate, I could just use a mace instead, lmao the fight barely lasted 2min tops. Maces are REALLY OP against plate, just like real life i guess
On Dequitem's channel he tests weapons against armor and maces don't really do anything to plate in real life. His buddies wail on him and he says it's pretty mild
@@DWH84are you kidding me? maces absolutely effect armor because maces were made for breaking armor? idk where you got this misinformation from but try getting hit by a sword with armor and a mace, the difference is a scratch on your armor and your ribs cracked
@@aoelobi Against plate armour there really isn't any medieval weapon that's effective. Even the weapons that are the most effective against plate aka polearms have a difficult time killing someone in full plate. Usually, knight vs knight encounters end in wrestling to tear the armour off each other and stabbing with your knife.
i never knew you can fight them all alone! haha. good job lad! btw, to fight full armor, its better to use mace. one or two hit already killed the person. sword is used to fight slightly armoured person, such as the archer. use the st. george's sword for best overall stats. thanks for the video man!really love it!😁
For this guy it really makes no difference. He's a slugger even against some of the best weapons in the game. Though with headknocker perk and a Warhammer, you can spam the overhead strike and kill him pretty fast, since like the tourneys he do3snt get knocked out, he just loses a bunch of health.
@@plaguepandemic5651 haha im not giving him anything. just saying whats best weapon to use against this kind of enemy. theres no shame in using sword at all. maybe he's just using the sword to get more exp to level up swording in game. who knows.
Really loved this fight and it took me a couple of tries but i managed to win the fight with no companions dying. Was really really proud, and after the fight they shared a few words, told me to meet back at camp and poof they were gone. Decided to reload and follow them, and because they were all scripted to die during the fight them surviving means that once they got a certain distance from the battlefield they would all just keel over and die. Really sad the devs scripted this and a very sad day for such a merry merry band.
@@christianarciga8500 the more you play this game, the more you realise this game is just good at pretending your choices matter. i wanted to test my "theory" and when on a mission to follow the bishop and convince him it's all christians in here, i straight-up killed him and the bailif (quest giver) yelled at me but IN PRACTICE, nothing changed, he still gave me the next mission etc. i think the realistic outcome would be for me to never be invited near the castle again lol
@@nunyanunya4147 kcd is janky as hell lol, still the game is a ton of fun once you can consistently pull off combos and masterstrike as well and I love an RPG where it lets you actually figure things out rather than just go waypoint to waypoint
Very nice my friend! Was shouting tactics at the screen the whole time haha "go for the light armoured first, get this bandit out the way! If it was real life id bind his sword arm and headbutt the cu*t in his unarmoured face"
😂 the final 2 bandits was a fail with the auto lock not being able to switch between then due to them running right and left causing the second spamming me without my defence key actually blocking the hits lol
I couldn't even imagine fighting hagen let alone all his men at once. I havent gotten far in this game at all since it came out cause i always knew it would take time to get this good with the fighting mechanic. And i just dont have the attention span for that 😭
fight Bernard and keep fighting him. If you can beat Bernard you can beat anybody. And if you're fighting 3 or more people walk backwards...the one who runs to you will ALWAYS attack, as soon as they get close you get an easy master strike.
Thats why I'd get rid of Zoul's men first, to shut them up. On a horseback, and later on, unscathed 1v1 in silence. After making him see his men being killed one by one.
my god how many times they gonna say taken wooden sword lmap hope you went for his knee i use to be an adventure once too then i took a arrow to the knee
I defeated him in one hit (headcracker), very anti-climactic... entire DLC BoB was kinda disappointing, great idea but not so great execution (no pun intended). Completely opposite of A Woman's Lot: I didn't expect much but such a great DLC, especially Johanka/Inquisition questline (probably the best I've ever played)
Yeah Johanka's part of the dlc was amazing! This along with Han's Capon and the From the Ashes DLC were not that great... Short and unfinished tbh... Great as you said but not much ive played literal side quests which were better than the entire DLC lol
I enjoyed the BoB but I thought it was too short. My last playthrough I paid Kuno and his men to fight with me against Zoul and his lot. During the battle Kuno was killed and after we'd achieved victory the remaining 2 or 3 BoB turned against me like rabid dogs. Before this I had been quite well liked among them. Oh well, 🤷 I got Zoul's armor and Kuno's Stinger out of it
when I fought him, I let him go, then hit him anyway, he ran off and I dodged his squad, disapointed that I couldn't get his shit, I sat there contemplating, then out of nowhere, I spot him going back for his sword and shield, so I got it anyway!
I know the game was designed so you'd be fighting a duel or 1v2/1v3 but that shit gets annoying when they start sprinting around you and doing those attacks from behind that sends Henry stumbling all over the place.
Just did this quest yesterday. As soon as the fight started, I flanked the opposing army and took out Zoul first. Once he was dealt with I looked around and Kuno's entire band had already gone down. They maybe killed 3 people. Henry was left surrounded by the rest of the army. I barely survived on a sliver of health. Once the last man went down, I stood there for a couple minuets trying to absorb the craziness I'd just endured.
Ironically telling the mercenaries to leave is the better option because they die almost immediately and then you have to fight Zoul AND a giant legion of goons.
so i realized from recent run that high leveled enemies like sir zoul, full armor bandits, cuman commanders, or last opponent on rattay tourney are damn hard to beat with regular strikes due to their ability to use perfect guard or land master strike. also it takes forever to just wait for their strike and perform master strike too and it is boring too cuz the only key you spam will be q key however, they become really dumb when henry wins on binding, making them venerable and open short time window to land any kind of normal attack, especially stabbing. since by the time of gameplay that henry faces sir zoul his strength usually reaches its max, and with strength perk it is almost certain wining from bind state this made my combat in tge game much more interesting than just being super passive and waiting for enemy's attack to spam q key, or have unpleasant experience of keep getting countered for trying to land normal attack
just started playing this game yesterday and damn now I’m in a dilemma (play the cinematic way like you or go the easy route with maces like the comments suggested)😂 big ups tho bro I’m loving the gams
I completely forgot maces were a real thing that would crack chest and foreheads in alike. Gonna have to try a mace for this fight specifically so I can kill them all😂👌 I had beat the 10 bandits before with the sword but my god did that take forever!
Crazy I had to do the same thing but instead of the conversation after the duel he ran away. Thinking I have to kill him I hunted him down and finished him off then all his men attacked me. Thankfully with the shield build I killed them off with a little bit of ease. But I was so confused, I never knew that a conversation would be triggered if you actually chatted with him.
Does it get any better to keep up the cycle of perfect blocks and swings later on? Most of the time, it ends with me getting hit with a master strike after two or three times
We all love kingdom come and it’s combat style but if we’re honest it leave a bit to be desired and can be wonky at times (maybe I just need to be better) but IMAGINE a ghost of Tsushima type game set in the kingdom come universe with the rpg elements that would be fire imo
Watching two heavily armoured knighs fight with sharp swords really breaks the immersion for me. They could do this for hours and none of them would get hurt. I really wish that swords were ineffective against armoured enemies in this game. It would make the player have to switch weapons for different opponents and therefore creating a much more realistic game mechanic.
There are ways to use a sword more efficiently against a armoured opponent. Its just a sword isint the most efficient compared to other weapons, but it certainly isint useless.
They are ineffective. Maces work significantly better. In the end, a sword is still a hunk of metal, and if you swing it hard enough, it can still transfer enough force into your opponent's body to hurt them.
@@TheGreatJinx Historically if they were using swords in a duel against an armored opponent then they'd Half-sword or Murder strike(Turn the sword around and use as club). If that failed then they'd start rolling around on the ground and try to jab a dagger through a gap, Duels were brutal back in the day.
i beat him in the duel and killed him but i had no idea there was an option where he could yield and if you still choose to kill him afterwards you have to fight his 10 man squad. no way i can beat a 10 man squad in this game tho lol
Ha, I did this, killed all of them. The trick was hit, run, repeat, whittle them down, then find a hedged area to cheese them a little. Took me a good while but I got them all. Blunt weapons too only.
I didnt want to spam the master strikes also the recording was played after a 2 years break so i had lots of stuff to remember etc so yeah not an expert but yeeet
It certainly wasnt hardcore mode when i started the game 3 years ago i chose the easier difficulty so i could learn the game. In a future video ive downloaded a mod that makes the save hardcore without hud etc.
I dont get why this game gets so much praise. The combat looks so floaty/clunky and your sight seems to clip through everything, including your own face!
aqua vitalis is a must for this quest. well for really any quest that involves you having to face >3 enemies. you just one shot people and it takes about 5-6 direct hits for you to take even a lick of damage. I played this dlc and i got all of Zunos men to participate in the battle but they all died like seconds in and so when i fought them I have to face Zuno and the rest of them all at once. I was still at like 75 health and I decimated them.
Where can i find Markwart im searching so Long but i Just cant find him the quest Just says i need to find and kill him but they dont Tell me where he is or even a little Tip
if you convince kuno with either speech or groschen to keep serve as sir radzig's mercenary then they will join fight this is the case when you failed to convince him, he takes zoul's groschen then cancels mercenary contract with radzig immediately then leave if you visit his campsite, unlike the case of when you convinced kuno, their camp disappeared immediately
@@17MrLeon yes when you fail to convince Kuno then this video's cutscene plays and Henry challenges duel to sir Zoul sir Zoul, as Kuno or Radzig mention during dlc conversations, seem like rather honorable mercenary and he tries to keep act like nobility even he lost his land and castle. so sir Zoul accepts Henry's challenge
