So the reason they burn zozobra is bc in some vid you will saw it’s eye moving by it’s own it’s not normal bc it’s a puppet so they believe that some spirit or devil are controlling it so they burn it Pls like this i took this too long😢
For people who dont know,people burn zozobra at 4 p.m. on August 30th,zozobra is a spanish word of anxeity and worries so when they burn it its like forgetting the hardships of the year.(btw this is a new mexico tradition)

Explaination:so the puppets name is zozobra at night it would chase people down in the street at like 2 am or 3 am they realized that no one was inside the puppet and soon also realized it was devils third eye but they don't know where the fourth one is or they get a curse or something so they had so they needed to burn it.
