I wanted to make this video to show you guys just how far this truck has come. I also cover all the things ive had to repair or modify. I also talk more about the mods done to the truck and how to make them work correctly.

I just got the exact truck. It only has 100k miles and it’s pretty sweet. I will paint all my plastics again because they’re a little old but there’s no rust or rot. Couldn’t be happier!

I own the jeep wrangler Rubicon 40 tires 456 gears and hemi engine. But I just recently ordered my zr2 with the lift and 35 tires.it comes in this week .the front and rear lockers are what sold me on it.

I have a Crew cab and you say you are a perfectionist like myself... I would say under coat the body with 3-5 coats and Rhinoliner the frame! Also look up led turning lights and tail lights makes the truck look brand new!!! Trust me you'll love it..if I could send the website, I'd have to look it up!! Awesome Truck you have!!!

I got 250k on my 01 zr2 and she still runs perfectly. I bought it brand new so I am the only owner. Only real thing I have done was replace the spider injector, which is a PITA btw.

70-80 bucks?! Bro I️ paid about 50 for my Bluetooth Kenwood+install kit+wire harness (so I️ didn’t have to cut and split the stock harness) only 50$ for a really good stereo and it just looks good

Jeff Anderson couldn't find one hard to find, so I got a 1994 Silverado Z71...but hey you got a nice truck and did a great custom job on accessories...almost looks like a Baja truck 👍

Willubhave One too bad allmost no zr2s are 5 speeds. I have A 5speed 4x4 ls I love it. Cant want to lift it and pit some bigger tires and wheels on it waiting to go threw my stock size tires which are allmost new

Best mods for any ZR2. Bravada Shaft (Eliminates vacuum disconnect in the front end and all associated lines) 1 Ton Idler Arm (search on google for it).

Gotta do the manual transfer case swap too. I did the bravada whole diff and manual case swap on my 98 4dr and love it.

My 03, ZR2 has 123k miles and no front end issues ever. It's been on pavement mostly but it has made round trip on the Al/Can Hwy towing 3K trailer. I keep those joints well lubed but I have to wonder if Chevy used different suppliers of front end joints. I have only ever had issues on other vehicles with TRW stuff, much prefer Moog.

crutchfield sells decks and you get the harness,deck adapter and install instructions for free i got a jvc media player for my 2000 blazer for $89 plus you will get a warranty just a heads up for people looking to install a deck and dont want to pay all the extra $$$ on the other things

My zr2 was hit by someone in a parking lot and the dented my rear right side and busted my fender flare and I cannot find any aftermarket flares or original ones if you know how I could get a flare it would be much appreciated and keep up the videos the truck is beautiful

yeah you can find them. but they are not cheap. check ebay or craigslist. might have to repaint it since they fade..

Your truck is really an awsome s-10! I'm doing about the same mods on my -98 Blazer, but man are they skinny with the oem wheels, iv'e had them spaced out 2" each side in the rear and 1" /side in the front, running 30x9.50 hankook at-m's and a 2.5 RC lift, but ill have to get some dezent rims to really get the right stance!

Coulda spent 15 bucks for a bt adapter that plugs into ur cig lighter. Set the radio to an fm channel with no signal followed by the adapter. Then connect through bt and bam!

You can get a Bluetooth radio adapter for like 39 bucks plugs into your cigarette lighter Bluetooth with your phone and then you change it to the radio station that it turns into you don't got to do no wiring or spin 70 bucks

Hell no. That stereo installation would have been easy. I could have had the whole thing done in less than an hour. Learn a new skill. A high-quality stereo system is a must. In my opinion.

@@DAGOLFER34 thanks for the reply, and awesome videos. im about to cut my flares on my 2005 zr2 . I put 31x10.5 r15 on 15x8 rims with 4.5 backspacing and got quite a bit of rub now. Took of lower valance on front bumper and now gonna take a zip disc to the rear part of the front flares. Just unsure of the inner wheel well covers as im getting some rub there too. I was thinking hammer 🤣
