Zs TEST WITH KT63/KT63DL

Yesterday I posted requesting a video requesting a demonstration of the Ze test (in LOOP High mode) . I suggested that the KT63 should be used in 3-wire mode. THIS WAS WRONG and I have deleted my posts. I have since found the KEWTECH KT63 Operating manual that describes a 2-WIRE configuration for the test leads (Page 16) Basically join the Blue and Green leads together at the Probe/Croc-clip end. Also Note that the Operation Manual specifies on page 16 and page 18 to ONLY use the KT63 LOOP HIGH mode with a TWO WIRE configuration.

The mains it’s on the ON position I guess As it’s a live testing,I’m just not sure Thanks

Mine trips off Eaton RCBOs [and some others] when trying to do a No Trip test. Why?

You got three leads going out of the meter, where is the third connected?

Mine fires up a polarity warning whenever I try to test rcbo's, does it need an earth lead that the neutral also slots into for this test?

What if there is no rcd im an old installtion. Do you set it to high?

I get hugely inaccurate Zs readings on the KT63 no trip setting, can only rely on the high current test

This video seriously misrepresents the time this thing takes to do a no-trip loop test. Each time you connect it to a circuit it needs to go through the pre-test (approximately as shown here from 1:11) before it will do a loop test. If you set it to "hands free" it will do the sequence automatically. Otherwise you need to press the test button in the middle of the process. Minimum 9 seconds from connection to getting a reading.
