So, I bought the clutch cable and it works great. New problem I am having is that it bog and chokes when I try to accelerate and will stall. then i give it a start again, and it idles fine, just starts to have issues when i accelerate. Only thing i can think that might be a problem are jets maybe, or the fact that i am still using the stock exhaust for the 190. You have any issues when you first ran your 190? any tips or suggestions? I appreciate the help
That is what i suspected. time to get a new exhaust. Virus lock down has me with nothing better to do, haha. What Exhaust did you go with? Sounds good. MAN! I figured out the problem....the idle mix screw was only 1 full turn out from completely tight. i unscrewed it about 3 full turns and now it is running pretty close to normal. Do you happen to know how many turns out it is supposed to be roughly? i can't seem to find any info on it, im just guessing here at the moment at 3 turns. i try adjusting it in and out while it is idling like i am supposed to to tune it, but it doesnt seem to effect much
Some of these clones have a catalytic converter in the exhaust for emissions. I'd cut that out and rejet the carb. Or better yet toss the Chinese carb and get a mikuni. Japanese carbs are the shit
Anna Nunnelley bad news...once u peel them off they are going to ruin your plastics..underneath them there is no clear coat leaving an ugly off white color....i ended up plasti dipping it white and turned out great for my first time...I’ll be painting them again so that will be a future video..stay tuned

Hey man, I bought a zs190 for my Grom clone because of your build, but i need some help. Can you please tell me what you did for a clutch cable? My grom clone's cable is WAY too short for the 190, and i can't seem to find info on what cable to get...very frustrated.
Chadash Yasharahla depends on what u are doing..if you want to mod your 125 engine: Vm22 carb 16t sprocket Exhaust That will make a big difference in speed and power..should get you to 60mph If your going with the zs190 swap Then order online...it also will need an exhaust Best places to get all the modding info is Facebook groups..join clone army and zs190 swap shop
What exhaust would you suggest that is a direct replacement? No cutting or welding would be the best! But honestly! I rather go straight to the gusto... I wanna go straight to a 190 or 212 is what I been seeing? I need the list! Lol
@@ogmagi ok did you use the stock regulator? The regulator is on back above wheel. The 190 came w wrong style regulator which we know that. I cant even use the regulator it came w if I wanted to.
@@ogmagi the regulator is also known as the rectifier. Did you use the one in the kit? If you did how the hell did you do it lol. If you didn't even better.
