Right? The pop up on the OnePlus 7 Pro wasn’t fantastic quality, but it was still leagues ahead of any under display camera I’ve seen so far. This just feels like a weird regression to me 🤷♀️
@@Whyareyougay394 My OP7 pro still works as well as the day I got it (hardware wise), I kinda feel like the durability thing gets overstated a lot tbh. I haven’t done a test myself but I’m pretty sure Dave2d did his review of the phone with it sitting underwater the entire time, so it’s definitely got *some* kind of protection going on lol edit: obv this level of quality isn’t a given and I would trust a popup from a less-known brand less, but it ain’t impossible to make it work
It also has its drawbacks . Takes too much space inside the phone to fit the whole pop up mechanism, not durable , repairs would be expensive , water resistance issues etc etc . Notches are still the best imo for now .
The purpose of the under-display cameras are for purely aesthetic reasons not picture quality reasons. So, a person who buys such a phone is making a conscious decision that they want an unobstructed display and are prioritizing screen quality. I don’t own a phone like this, but I am not criticizing since I understand the approach and priorities here.
@@y43s yes they are far, it will take them a lot of years but when they will release it officially on their flagships i hope it will be very good quality
@@TheFunnyDictator because samsung makes dreptunghiular phones which looks the best imo. I have a note 20 ultra and it would look great with a under display camera just like the phone in the video which is kinda of a replica of samsumg with a bad quality
I'm certain that you are kidding. That is a great video taken with the ZTE. I like the way you went about making this video. I bet a lot of people don't get you but I do and I try to catch all your shorts. Thanks for sharing this with us all 😂
Actually it's preeetttyyy gooood. It's the first time I am seeing an under-display camera. I'd say it's impressive and can be a starting point for the future tech. P.s I wished for a phone without notch, even if there's no selfie camera. I rarely use it. This is it
TBH I don't really care about the front-facing camera. As long as the back cameras are top-notch. I would rather have a edge-to-edge screen that is uninterrupted.
I won't be surprised if samsung comes with s24 ultra under display cam with best quality; after all they have been the innovators for a couple of years now
To say the least it's better than the Samsung A03 Core cuz on the A03 Core u get a trash front camera it only works somewhat good in the outdoors, same for the back cam
I don't care. I wanted a smartphone like this for ages where the selfie camera just diddnt exist. Not really a fan of pop up camera either. I see this as a win as I don't take selfies and want a no interrupted display
Honestly I barely ever use the front camera, but I see my phones screen every time I use my phone the entire time. Frankly I'd rather have a phone with a full display and no front camera at all than a hole punch, or god forbid one of those shitty pop up cameras. I'll take a shitty front camera absolutely.
The fact that he chose this phone to show off the under display camera like bruh wth even is a axon?? 😂😂 There are a few more well know brands that have these cameras and look way better
