Oh my gosh Kevin, so simple but how very delicious this must be! I love fried zucchini, so much so, I will need to fry more than 72 slices to have enough to put in the recipe! I have had the Pomi tomato products before and they are so good. Another keeper, thanks Kevin🥒🥒🥒
I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I really appreciate them. Cooking, piano, walking in your garden. Absolutely relaxing and calming and I’ve cooked a few things! Watching your binky videos. I wish all animals had beautiful homes with kind caring owners like you. Thank you.
Intesting that you tear the basil instead of cutting it. This is what Elizabeth David told you to do. This looks very good. I am always looking for nice vegetarian dishes as my husband is a vegetarian, so thank you!
You said you ate this as a child, id never heard of zucchini till i was 18, i lived in Turkey for a while and this strange food was put on my plate, luckily i like it, will definitely try zucchini this way.
That does look delicious! I will make it. Maybe a half recipe for me. It would be great for a potluck, or having someone over for Italian night. Could serve with chicken or beef, a nice glass of vino.♥️🍷
Absolutely wonderful! Our local grocery stores don't have that brand of strained tomatoes, but I make and can sauce from the tomatoes I grow. I've made similar casseroles with patty pan squash, too. You might try dehydrating summer squash that you grow - It takes up much less space to store that way, and unlike blanching and freezing, the skin won't get tough. It's easy to use in a soup or casserole, because it rehydrates easily!
I "googled" that brand of tomato products and they are sold at Walmart. Don't know where you live, but most of America is near a Walmart. Perhaps you can try there. 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅
David this is amazing. Did you ever decide on a kitchen backsplash. Maybe do an episode on the topic. It really seems to need something. I was thinking metal or wood. Quilted stainless might work as a set backdrop. Trying different shades of paint until you are ready to committ may help. Always a treat to get a new episode so until the next one comes out I'm enjoying rewatching! Happy New Year.
Hello Kevin, I’m new to your channel and yesterday made this for two dinner guests and it was a smashing success. There was only one piece left from the 9x13 dish! It is a bit time consuming to make but oh so worth the effort. The only thing I did differently was use Parmesan cheese. Thank you so much for posting this superb dish!
Oh do have affiliate links or an amazon store! I bought several cooking supplies based on your videos and w'ld have loved to purchase them via an affiliate link which I believe would give this channel a small commission off of it. It seems there is a lot of effort going into these videos and thus far not that many subscribers. Wld lv to support the channel via viewers' purchasing cooking items seen in these videos!
It's that time of year! Lock your car doors, folks, lest the neighbors sneak zucchini in. Thanks, Kevin, for another "what do I do with all this zucchini?" idea!
Just a thought Kevin, couldn't,t you just slice the zucchini instead of sliced rounds? Same taste I would think, but so much less work!( your the chef, NOT ME, was just wondering!)
