This was a tough one to watch. That injury was visible on camera. Thoughts go out to Curtis and his recovery. He’s still a beast. Zurab is world-class.
Zurab deserves a crack at the world title at 95kg imo he’s been at every EvW event predominantly going against people that are way bigger than him with decent success so I think he’s earned it. Hope Curtis has a speedy recover as well
Zurab is a beast no doubt, but in EvW he loses more than win. He lost to John, Chance Shaw, Petrenko (similar weight). His only significant win so far is Ron Bath (by a hair), we can mention Curtis/Porkchop (being upcoming major underdog anyway).

Nothing worse than injury. I tore a pec benching years ago and it hurt bad, and it was only a partial tear. Sucks being down for any period but for prototypical recuperation. I wish him the best.

Big shame for Pork Chop. At least he was in there long enough that we could see he was really holding his own so he's certainly earned another shot once he's better. Anyone up against Zurab with similar power means it's going to be a brutal experience.
It takes years and years of pulling to develop tendon strength, when you pull at a world class level those tendons will be tested way more than practice pulling. Hope he makes a full recovery 🙏

that s what i always avoid in this sport...never take defensive position!all the pressure will be thrown on ur elbow and biceps...u either win if u r stronger and better prepared or let ur hand go down when somebody pulls u ...simple rule ..u can go for the win on a rematch if u wish or can...this is how i play this sport..and i keep away injuries
Looked like Zurab out torqued him, maybe Curtis could have won if he some how kept center and had better endurance? Either way, congrats to Zurab and I hope Curtis has a good recovery.
I don't think Zurab and Curtis' power difference is far apart. I would give Zurab a slight edge here but Curtis is very close behind him. Unfortunate for that injury to happen but the experience from pulling Zurab will definitely help Curtis even more in his prep if they do meet again the second time around. Zurab a gent as always.
