Use the old diaphragms unless they have a tear in them. Keep the old jets and just clean them well. I always remove idle mixture screws, all jets, diaphragms, floats, needles and float needles when I clean so as to make sure everything is in order and so carb cleaner doesn't get on the diaphragms when cleaning out all passageways. I leave all jets, needles and mixture screws in carb cleaner overnight and run a wire through all.jets and carb passageways. Inspect all orings and float height. Inspect float needles for damage or excessive wear to rubber tip. Don't put anything rubber in carb cleaner.
REVISITED FOR A REFRESHER, NO MAIN JETS, WRONG SIZED DIAPHRAGMS, no number pilot jets, $20 bucks for a bowl gasket X4, that is some high quality chinesium crapolium ya got there sir...... (like i didn't expect some hiccups along the way) too GD Funny man. A trick to cleaning those pilot jets is to heat up the straw a bit, draw it out (to form like a small funnel) AND THEN CUT IT TO GET INSIDE THOSE JETS REALLLLY GOOD. Sure am glad you quantified the video by saying "I'm not a mechanic" ROFLMFAO ........ bruh this is quite the comedy show. Thought maybe cause I didn't watch it all the way thru the first time I may have missed something and ya know what I DID. I missed all the laughter ................ OMFG too hilarious. Great video i have just purchased a 1992 zzr 1100 runs sweet , bur when riding seems lumpy at 3500 rpm till 4000 rpm , idle is smooth , , carbs are all clean is this just the way the are im told around that rev range once over 4000 it a weapon?
Buy some more of that chinesium crapolium. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I will never do that again EVER. Buy the right sheet, cause it saves times and money in the end. Just clean up the old ones and lightly scotchbrite the outside to reshine em up. Make sure to use a needle kit to clean those tiny holes in the jets sides. All Balls is made in China too. Amazon sells a welder tip cleaner tool that the smallest one DOES get into those holes and the tips have a fine type file on the end which REALLY works well. AND the tips DOES go ALL THE WAY THRU them holes. Man watching you work is damn near painfullllll, I'm out with the mis-information and BS.

@sunsetsportbikes9435 brilliant bikes mate changed the carbs today as it ran poor revs wouldn't come back down as previous owner snapped the air and fuel screws so set up the new ones today she runs mint now just don't seem as quick must just be me tbf lol 😉
