I loved how you played with your nuts in this video. I've been playing with my own nuts for years. Cheaper and more satisfying then letting a professional play with your nuts.
Hi Tim, LED's fitted this evening, I had a good look inside and it's hard to believe that so much heat can build up inside, the strange thing is it's the left signal light that is nearest the top middle? Another interesting point.... I recently bought a double bubble screen and started keeping g a rag behind the clocks, I think the rag also reduced airflow behind the clocks as it was snug up against them so that could also have contributed. Anyway I will monitor it over the next week etc👍 Tim.
Brilliant mate. Let me know how you get on. As I said in the video it was a now good friend who had a J2 back in 02 and his done it within 4 months. The dealership said they knew it was an issue caused by the heat from the bulbs but would not exchange it. I assume the people with mint clocks just rode in the day with no lights. I will sort the A1P out at some point. Really p'ssess me off lol.
You can always sand the facia with 180g and fill it with plastic filler then and primer filler it block sand the repair area with 320, hand sand the rest then seal and paint with your desired color ! Probably a satin matte black if you want a oe look
Yeah I was thinking this. My mate is a painter and was gonna see how much it would cost to do. You still want that stipple effect on the plastic which I think some paints or primers do. I might give it a go with the spare one I have.
Hi. Its Healtech. Super easy to fit and program. This is where I purchase all my Healtech gear: www.bikersdiscountstore.co.uk/gear-indicators-intruments/healtech-electronics/gipro-x-type-g2-gear-indicator-shift-light-pd-42.php Thanks for watching. Tim
@@kawasakizx6r813 Thanks for the link.. I took a look and it asked for a part number. There is a huge drop down with numbers?? can you recall what part number you used ( GPXT ??? ) please?? Thanks
There is a drop down on the right hand side for you to put your make and model of bike. It will then drop down all the products available for your model with wire loom part no. For the gear indicator its GPXT K01. Also pick the display colour to match your own display. Personally I like white. If your stuck, give them a call. Brilliant company and very helpful. Also super quick delivery. I've recieved all my products from them within 48 hours. Tim.
