I remember being in my teens in the 80s. I loved music but still hadn't found my sound until one day my brother had his stereo blaring and this new song came on which stopped me in my tracks . Can't Stop Rocking . 3 weeks later i had their whole collection and waited with anticipation for every new album to be available.
I first came across ZZ Top while living in west Germany in the late 70s. A TV show, MusicLaden, was must for rock fans. BFBS had the legendary John Peel show and a lot of great rock,blues and folk on radio but to actually see the latest bands it was either TOTPs a week late or Music Laden a German show, they broadcast the whole gig live. Niels Lofgren, Springsteen and ZZ Top played. This was just before the MTV era. Probably the last time a band plugged in and played for real. So thank you NDR or whoever for letting us see the future ✌️
Seen these guys on the ELIMINATOR ALBUM TOUR, don't recollect what year that was. One of the only concerts I seen, where nobody sat down for the entire show. They were Badass. RIP Dusty
1 jour zz top était venu a Avignon faire 1 concerts les places étaient hors de prix mais le plaisir de voir écouter zztop wouaoufff ben j'en garde pas 1 souvenirs super ,ils ont joué des milliers de cris de rappel rien nib ils ont fait le strict minimum , Police a Frejus eux nous en avaient donné 1000x plus etc .....
The first time i bought 2 albums when i was young.... One of them was ZZ≡Top. Saw them live in Germany in late 80s begin 90s ! What a performance that was. Stadion rockconcert perfecto. Many people in the touringcar i asked about ZZTop.....they knew nothing ! What? Why? Why go than? Because support'act' was Brain Adams.....🤣...me honest answer to them; No way, ya'll not for ZZ‐TOP ? On the otherhand had to tell 'em i had no clue Brain Adams would be opening act 👍🏻🤣‼️🤠🤏🏽😎
Saw these cats back in the '80s in Memphis, Tennessee The red rocker opened up for them. It was a kick-ass concert at the coliseum. Back of Memphis was Memphis before it became Africa

I used to live just outside of Gruene in New Braunfels . Gruene is the oldest dance hall still standing in Tx . It’s a great little venue, I’ve seen George Strait there . I would love to move back there again
