Lazy as far as shipping products. Slow at sending merchandise off. Item arrived "BADLY!" "DAMAGED!" It was only suppose to have a small neck "BLEMISH" on the fretboard.
I agree with people not caring man. I've received 3 fender player strats that all had defects, and a couple with bad craftsmanship. A couple of gretch electromatic jets with huge defects an Epiphone SG with broken knobs and a couple of boxes that looked like they fell off a mountain or something. Some of these were between 700-1000$ ridiculous. I finally went to GC and got a flawless fender player strat plus top in blue burst. But yes people need to care more in the factory and in the shipping process. Good video 👌✌️
Most likely it comes down to one shipping employee not taking pride in their work. I had a similar issue with Sweetwater a while back so it’s not just zzounds. Taker care, Coop.

Yea, I was gonna order my first bass from zzounds a few weeks ago but I had a few questions....I spoke to their customer service on two separate occasions and they were absolutely terrible. Needles to say I went straight to the Fender website and purchased a Squire affinity 5 string. I love it!
Man you are speaking the truth I don't deal with zZounds or American Music Supply they are trashy companies they figure because you don't have to do a credit check to do payments on most of their products they figure they can get away with doing anything because they know they the only company that offer no credit check so I rather go to Guitar Center or Sweetwater and just be happy paying the full amount
Yes sir! I learned my lesson from this company. They just did me so wrong. I had my Sire Marcus Miller preamp and pickups ready for this jawn. Well,...they bust me right in the back of the head! I sent it back. Yes, give GC or Sweetwater the full amount and go home happy. :D
Coop Zounds don't Normally Send out Basses Like that They Should Have Checked that Bass Before it was Shipped Sorry they Did that too you send it Back pronto.
Mr. Darrell Williams. I know. Years ago, they would hook you up. With this new "GENERATION",...they don't know the value of a "MUSICIANS" heart. Years ago, it was about "RESPECTING" the musical instruments. Making sure those instruments "WOULD NOT!" get damaged. Now,...anything "VIRTUAL" is more important. Lol! Real talk.

Yes,...Squier VM basses are another new "BEAST" of "COST EFFECTIVE" basses that some bassist's have and don't even know they have the beast sitting in their possession. I am with you on that. Thank you, I am trying my best to keep it up! : D

Hey coop just started watching your videos man I tell you I started buying from Zzounds in 2012 my bass was a 2010 fender jazz deluxe 5 string I’ve brought PA systems mics no problem unto bout a month ago I brought the G&L 2500 tribute bass seem it was pack pretty well but man the finish was cracked all up where the eq section was sent it back got another one same problem so now a third one is come if this one messed up I’m done with them....
Zzounds gets zonked, by Coop. That's good enough for me! I never ordered anything from them anyway! I do feel your pain on that Squire. Interestingly I'm experiencing something similar with my Musicman Ray 24 which was shipped through Guitar Center. There was no cosmetic damage, but I'm having a hard time keeping the neck calibrated. My brother, some people may think because it's a squire then you shouldn't expect much more but I am of the same opinion as you, if you thought enough to purchase it from them they should think enough to package it properly because you spent your money on their product. I'm glad you call them out the way you did because they should not get a pass on this one. I'm sorry such a smooth brother as you had to go through this crap but it let me know that I won't even buy a guitar pick from them, let alone spending my money on a bass guitar from them. I just wrote them off.
I know,...Sir Anderson my man. They take "SQUIER" basses as junk basses. They are basically, "FENDER'S" for real, for real. Hey, even their pickups don't need to be removed when you add a preamp to them. Those pickups are just as good as the USA Fender pickups. I can get the "BADDEST" jazz bass sound out of the Squier J bass. Oh! If you check out the Production B On it Production. Those guys (bassist's),...some of them do not play "HIGH END" basses. They be using ESP LTD basses, Squier's, etc. Check them out. B on it productions/Strange Arrange when you get a chance. Thank you for such kind words too. I highly appreciate it. Zzsounds is NOT what the used to. Changed to Sweetwater for all my studio needs. Customer service is the key to keep you coming. They lost me and I know I’m not the only one.
Well,...I already had the natural one,..."CLASSIC VIBE" V 5 STRING. I just wanted another one,...different color. To me,...it wasn't worth the hassle of shipping it, paying Johnny to revise it. Just too much to do for such a badly damaged axe. Also, I have too many basses. To many to worry about something I did not do. Ya' feel me? : D
Thanks JUSS VEE. I had some "SERIOUS" plans for that "JAWN!" I was going to break that bass out at a gig, and take them on a "SQUIER - SIRE" Jazz bass journey. Lol! I was going to take them down,..."MEMORY/FUTURE" journey. Something they never "HEARD" or "SEEN" before. With my (3) "GK!" MB115's and Dean Markley SR2000 tapered wound bass strings. They were going to get "RID" of their,...other than "SQUIER" basses once they "WOULD" have "HEARD" this "JAWN!!!!!!" Lol! Well, I have to put this "ENERGY" into the "NATURAL" classic vibe 5 string I have or the "BLUE AFFINITY" 5 string jazz that I am going to change the neck to a "VINTAGE" MODIFIED" neck and take it from there. "GOD!" THEE ALMIGHTY FIRST!" Yeah,...Zzounds put a hurting on me. They can count me out. Now, the "ALLEN EDEN DISCIPLE 5 - 5 string bass. Some of my friends had them and got rid of them. I'm going to ask you to just try this. For the money you pay for an "ALLEN EDEN" new,...you can get a "BAAAAAAD!" used "BASSMODS" 5 string for around the same price. You don't even have to touch an "ALLEN EDEN" once you get the "BASSMODS". That is a challenge I'm asking you. Look,...I'm asking you to look for this in a "BASSMODS" though. Find one with the "BASSMODS" pickups in it with the "BASSMODS" preamp or "BARTOLINI'S" with the "BASSMODS" preamp in it. If you find one with let's say; "AUDERE" preamp in it with "BASSMODS" pickups. You may like it in the beginning but,...as soon as someone come along with one that have the "BASSMODS" preamp in it,...you are going to start "CRYING!" (Lol!) You're going to say to yourself. Coop' told me so. Lol! Oh wait! Also, stay away from the "BASSMODS" that have a "MUSICMAN" style pickup in the "BRIDGE" position. After a while, you won't want that either. Trust me. There's nothing wrong with the "BASSMODS" basses. I'm just giving you the "SOUND" that I know you'll like more than the others. You may like a "MUSICMAN" pickup in the back. That I don't know.
