They need some MVC3 wolverine combo speed links and not so much juggling / long timing links keep the combo hit count but increase the attack speed. Wolverine can pump out 13 hits in like 2 seconds whereas this game it takes yasuo like 10 seconds to do 13 hits
Hmmm not really impressed plus them having power armors is very dumb I want the brutality of the cyber initiative they could have been female robots but there just chick's in armor its basically iron heart which is not a good thing Honselty cyrax and sektor are the weakest so just gotta see what noob gameplay will be

NRS is showing out. At first I was concerned about the gender swap but they did a Hell of a job. Gameplay looks fun & most importantly I am looking forward to the story. 👍🏿👍🏿💯

Multiverse stuff is just bland imo. It can be done well but there's so much bad ways of doing it out there that it's gotten the rap of so bad. Also I'm not into swaps of characters and just defending it by saying "well it's a multiverse so whatever deal with it" ppl want the og characters not gender swapped versions... you might as well made brand new characters at that point.

I get not liking a character changing to what you recognize but with Cyrax & Sector being only really human for one game (Cyrax had a face I guess) & brief moments in cartoons it doesn’t matter
Yay finally we got Tampax and Sekt-Her. And you can be for gender bent characters, but you will never see a male Jade, Mileena, Kira, Sonia, or any of the established female fights because gender bending only goes one way - take a guy turn him into a chick version and make them into better than the original.

Because they were robots. No one else was a full robot (smoke was playable as human smoke). The only game that showed them as humans was MK9 and briefly. They were the best option to do this if they wanted.
Remember Metropolis? That silent film with lady robot. They remind me of that or maybe the host from Perversions of Science, the Sci Fi Tales of the Crypt rip off
the changing of sektor and cyrax with them being ladies now i was holding off judgement till i saw gameplay and cyrax looks nasty in gameplay. more agile then their male counterparts back in the day. so im excited to see how sektor plays now.
I was willing to forgive them for gender swapping and kept an open mind until I saw the story, gameplay, and how they looked but honestly it’s super disappointing outside of the gameplay which looks really fun. I disagree with gender swapping characters in general, I wish they would just create a new female cyborg or put Frost in the game but it’s the fact that they gender swapped them and they lost their tragic story due to them not being cyber ninjas anymore that really sucks. This is NOT Cyrax and Cyrax is my top 3 fav characters with Smoke & Noob so this sucks. It’s not just a gender swap, it’s the fact that the cyber ninjas are no longer even cybernetic robots. They are literally just two females wearing armor suits and the helmet is off half the time. Not only sucks because the entire cool thing about Cyrax & Sektor is the fact that they’re cyber ninjas/robots, but the tragic story attached to that where one is all for it and forces the cyber initiative on the rest of the clan while the other wants to keep his humanity and soul and body. Cyrax’s story was so sad and tragic, it’s honestly really hard to care about this girl wearing an armor suit that she could just take off at any time and walk away. It’s one thing if you wanted to gender swap them which again I disagree with but at least give us two female robots. It was honestly honestly annoying when they did it to Frost as well but if you’ve already done that to Frost then just bring back Frost instead of ruining other characters 🙄
@@nerakar6562not to be rude but why would they do Frost? the whole about MK1 is flipping the script on the series, which everyone was changed in varying degrees. to be honest I was never really a Sektor and Cyrax fan but this is interesting, which it'll get more people to try them out opposed to not playing them in general.
Bro, they were fucking brains inside robot armor in the original. Get over it, surely there are more things in the world for you to be upset about. Being a hater must take up so much energy and happiness.
Part of the charm of the cyborgs was that they were a Robocop type of character, someone who lost their freewill, their humanity and in the case of smoke and Cyrax trying to get it back, iron man armor is not that compelling IMO.
I have no thoughts on the gender swap, but it would have maybe been a neat dynamic to have one with the robotic-will and the other trying to save them from whatever system is in place mentally.
Seems like the game has mechanic bloat. Two separate buttons for specials is also adding to that problem of overwhelming options. I had hopes for this game to do a lot for the FGC but after playing this alpha and seeing what other people think, I don't know lol. A tag fighter was already a pretty bad choice for getting people into the genre.
Competitive games often have communities with a lot of apathy. Players will feel amazing and get so much dopamine from winning regardless of how easy a match was. There are league players who make a living off of beating up low ranked teams. Whether it's league or a fighting game, wanting to have FUN, and not get stomped constantly, is met with this. "You just have to keep practicing, it's supposed to suck ass in the beginning, that's part of the experience. Try using a different character and git good. Idk try blocking??" But the FGC always feels like it's in survivor mode to keep games alive, so it's good to have mechanics that allow all types of players to get into. League and Riot as a whole, don't...care about that lol. They have so many players. I appreciate the empathy for all types of players and more accessibility because it only makes games better. But I can already smell the excuses for a hardcore AAA budget kusoge.
I have issues with the inputs, I think my muscle memory just takes longer to adapt to somethings. Specifically I'm having issues with assists being direction + button. I'm using the Hori Fighting Commander Octa (4 shoulder buttons, 6 face buttons) and I've got all my macros but one of my shoulder buttons is not in use for anything. Ideally I think I'd like to assign back or forward assist to this unused shoulder button and the other to my current assist button (face). And then to do an assist launcher attack, I think holding down either of those buttons would be the solution. I just really don't like the assists being assigned a direction when movement is so insanely vital, it trips up my brain when I have to use a direction I don't want to go in to call the assist attack I want, at the very least I'd love for the solution I proposed here to at least be an option for me. Do I sound insane or does this make sense?
