NGL (Not Gonna Lie): A phrase often used when you’re about to say something candid, honest, and open.
We have many honest and unfiltered thoughts about life. Let’s talk - even when things don’t make sense at times. Join us as we chat about work, relationships, and things that matter in this podcast.
This is such a great topic!! Adults prolly struggle with making frens at work & even setting boundaries with colleagues. Like Nat, I’m ok with not making friends at work, cos it feels separate and idw waste work time bantering, so ppl who r so close to their colleagues it feels so alien
David's redemption is like Zuko from Avatar in some form. Zuko wasn't the bully but he in his own ways, were also seeking acknowledgement from his father as well as own growth journey. Amazing growth in mindset and change for everyone involved. Takes really a lot of bravery and courage to be vulnerable and share their feelings. Seeking that resolution & closure really parallels to many people who may have been bullied or bullied others. Thank you for this episode! We are all loved and can be worth of love. ❤️
Dropped by randomly because of RU-vid recommended videos. But NGL this was 30 minutes of exactly what I needed to hear! Thank you Diya and Carrie for being so grounded and sharing about your journey, identity and purpose ❤ Can’t wait for Part 2!
I went through this 33-35 when my mom was diagnosed with cancer at 52. Even at that age, she was my only family and it was such a painful experience. Caregiver stress and burnout is so common and very difficult. More people need this type of content and a resource.
suggestion to all: keep track of ur credit card spending on your phone. record the total sum spent for each card under NOTES. dont have to write every transaction but the total sum spent after paying the previous cycle. this is how i do it so that i can find out how much i have spent on cards immediately instead of logging in to each account to check, not that i have spending issues but i have been doing this since uni days.........this method also help to keep track of the payment dates, deadline etc.
That's a really good practice. I know its really common, but its actually helpful because things hit differently when you actually write them, or speak them.
i was never stressed or OT at work cos i never gave a damn about work😂. i have poor job performance and my boss/colleagues prob hate me, but fk it im still getting paid🤩
Hey guys, I’ve been watching NGL people for awhile and just wanna say good job, I really enjoy the content and conversations that y’all put up here. (I think y’all are from hope church? Idk?) but yes, I’m not from hope church, just happened to find y’all online one day and really enjoy the content y’all put up. Also want to shout out to the host, Natasha - think that you’re a really good host. Can facilitate the conversations well and also bring relevant points to the table. Can really emphasise well and also draw out good points from the ppl in the panel as well!:) Great job guys!
society need to stop telling men to be friends with girls before trying to ask her out, should be more blunt that if his looks below the girl looks, forget about it or get plastic surgery/ limb lengthening surgery
Been binging on so many of NGL's videos these days. absolutely love this channel. it has great production values, nice tone and manner, honest conversations and content that is applicable and relevant in real life. keep up the content. im initiated to comment after watching this video until one of the guest mention most of the people watching this episode could be girls hahah
I'm reaching thirties and slowly giving up on finding someone and I agree, it's sad for me too. Despite everyone asking you to "value your singleness" I think there's a stigma for those who can't find a partner when they reach a certain age. People in relationships always say it's great being single but it's not like they know what we go through.
not gonna lie. Wesley is really not the best to represent gen Z workers. too shallow and lack of experience. too simple minded and have not done bigger things enough to come out with realistic answers. sending one email to an entire company is not going to cut it for communication.
I stumbled across this video and I loved it! I wish more men were as self-aware as Isaac. At the end of the day, everyone wants to be loved by someone special, but it's never something that can be forced.
