I gotta be honest... There's something about this video that keeps me coming back ALMOST EVERY DAY. I can't stop watching this. I love it!! (i'd appreciate it if you could make a Quest 3 unboxing though)
Hi. Can you check if the VR is using the eGPU or just the integrated GPU? Did you connect the USB to the Laptop or the eGPU adapter? I tried to do eGPU with my 980Ti and my x230T today and noticed in the Task Manager that the eGPU is completely 0% utilization and the CPU max out at 100%.
PROS: Comfortable Headstrap and Extended Battery. CONS: USB Debugging does not work through the battery, USB has to be connected directly to Quest Device which defeats purpose of battery use.
anybody have had issues with the arms that you mount the headstrap to start cracking due to the extra strain on them from the m2 sliding mounts, and have a workaround, it seams the original straps that just clip over the howl arm are way better and id like a mount that works the same way that fits the m2
Hey great reviews. I just got a strap looking exactly like this for the quest 3. AFAIK many brands sell these same battery straps, its always the model number VR-Q8. It was adverstised to have 8 saftey mechanisms (including overhear protection). Seems like thats a false claim or do you know if they have improved the quest 3 version? It does alao support 18W PD charging and has a CE mark
i just installed, and i really like it. only issue is that since its a larger cushion, it takes more space from the straps. when its all out, i just fits me. if my head was any bigger, this would not have worked
