Completely understand what you're doing but why are you putting 12v down a 5v signal wire? Surely youd use that known good 5v supply at the plug & not force 12v down it 😂😢
Hi Steve, I'm based in South africa and I am having the same issue or similar, although my fuse box looks very different, could I have your email so I can send you some information?
There's no need to get the DPF cleaned in this instance. If you check the list of DPF regens (last 16 are stored) you will see lised the reason the regen failed. in this instance will be a faulty exhaust back pressure sensor (NOT the same as the differential pressure sensor) and once the fault code is stored the car will not perform a regen. Putting a new EBP (part B60) sensor in and clearing the fault is all that's needed to start the regen process.
@@SimplyDiagnostics I’ve seen this plenty of times on om651s A 400% fill level doesn’t mean it needs cleaning. There’s always another issue that prevents the regeneration. Even something as simple as a poor 12v battery. I can say pretty much for sure the problem with yours was a faulty sensor
Bugger! Tried this with my Twintop, bud sadly, it’s not worked as the fuse is fine! Think I have another issue entirely, as I can’t lock the car at all now, but could before. It’s keyless entry and start too and before it would even start, but would lock! Now it will start, but won’t lock 😂 I hate modern cars with a passion 😅
Thank you posting this very helpful video, please continue , also where can i get all the wiring diagrams from? , i have older AutoData but they are essentially useless, as do not cover many models and predominately for older cars.
Thanks for that. I have a similar issue. The audio doesn't turn on when the ignition is on and when the car is started. I have to press the power button for at least 2 mins for the audio to turn on. Please help
It's a like from me are them any good as I have had 2 off Ebay rubbish could not even read the vin number has this got key coding and topology mapping MODULES 😊
Dieseling ], only happens when the fan cuts in. The fan is telling you the engine is hot and some carbon build up is glowing and igniting the fuel. the original cause could be rich mixture causing carbon or worn engine. Check the carb mixture setting use colour tune set the timing 32 degrees at 3000 rpms, check it's not retarded and getting hot.. Go for a blast at a good speed down the motorway fro at least an hour. If that does not clear it. Decoke time and head off job.
I've got same intermittent issue with a 2012 1.7cdti astra j . Its took out power steering abs speedometer esp etc . Do you have a few pointers I can try please icarsoft code UO121 Code lost communication . Its driving me mad .
Thanks for the video very helpful. I have just carried out the same test on my Kia 1.6crdi and my pressure sensor signal wire reads 0.00 at idle and with engine @ 3000rpm. The power wire is fine @ 5v and the ground is also fine. Looks like my sensor is faulty? The reason i checked this is my dpf never seems to regen even after 2k miles.
I have same problem on transit 2.4 2005 fault code 23 B2139 When turn on ignition red light bleeps 2+3. Coded in reconditioned fuel pump, had two new keys coded in. Yet still get same fault B2139 immobiliser fault.
I have this fault..its been intermittent.. some people mentioned the wiring in that spot being a common fault.. ive not diagnosed it but at least i know where to look
Can this Unit be used on a 2013 Subaru WRX STI to clone my malfunctioning old ECM. My old ECM is going bad and I have a replacement but it is unusable without being able to Clone data like VIN and immobilizer info. I have a Cobb tuner which will allow me to program performance functions only. Most of these scanners allow only full function with usually German cars.
After searching for which fuse to replace and ending up more confused than when I started, your video lead me to a simple 60 second fix for a problem I've had for 2 months 😂. THANK YOU 🙌
I've had this same fault before on another 1.2 and changed the fan resistor module which solved it. However on this car, the cooling fan is still not coming on. I've put direct power on to the fan which comes on. I've checked the loom connector and there's power there. The engine light has gone off, when I rescan the fault is still on ecu but won't clear. Coolant light came on so I stopped & the tank had coolant. When I opened it, it was like a jacuzzi 🤯. Any tips & help would be appreciated thanks.
No, Hella is an excellent resource that I use daily, the diagrams are redrawn to make it easier for the technician whereas Alldata is genuine OEM information in its original format from the manufacturer. Both invaluable in a workshop.
What happenes after pro version of atis will end. Do you will still have wiring diagrams and waveforms ?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this. It's just that I've done a lot of testing, removed the air intake manifold , erg valve and pipes cleaned all out including entry ports new glow plugs . Checked wiring from plugs to relay. However I'm still get the p0683 code about the pre heat fault, plus the van now smokes like bloody hell after all that .
Amazing video but I'm wondering how do you know that the circuit tester is letting through 400ma please? I've looked online but none of them have this specification. I'm new to all this so maybe a silly question 😅.
Dealing with similar issue right now, corsa d 1.3 58 plate, replaced alternator and service, now it’s not starting was raining heavily but I had engine covered with waterproof sheet, replacing alternator cos of limp mode battery voltage dropping, and stalling at idle. ECU is common on these but I’m a total fitter, no idea bout circuits, thought it might be immobiliser, had someone out who’s a key programmer immobilisation person, and he said I can’t do it there’s no communication from ECM/ECU? No clicks, at all, no fuel pump priming, P0685, on your other corsa vid red one, was a corroded connector beneath engine fuse box, gonna check that otherwise clueless, any ideas? Awesome vid. Highly skilled technician. 🎉
