Diag confirmed...So do you think the vehicle was laid up due to this fault or has it got a stuck variable cam solonoid?

According to customer the fault happened on the first drive after being laid up.

So has this slipped the timing from being parked up a year and a possible cylinder/piston rings sticking together.

Can you give us a running compression after the fix just wanted to see if turbo charged engine have different running waveform from naturally aspirated thanks

Have u taken the cam timing adjust solenoid off to check its not siezed with it standing for a year. And re-adapt the throttle body . With it losing battery voltage.

Gonna be some crying 😭😭 with this one Steve , this will cost more than a tenner , should have run it frequently ,not just leave it and forget it for a year
