Wrocław. "I think it's how you pronounce it" nope, sorry :) We don't read "c" as "k". It's closest to "tz" or "zz" like in pizza. So it's closer to "Vrotzwhav".

With reference to the brave Poles who came across to the UK and fought as valliantly as us Scots......we both were Royally shafted as is the tradition of the Anglo-Saxon Monarchies. The Scots were the main military vanguard in most wars of the British Empire, as we are indeed as humble and fierce as the Polish military. More Scots died per capita, than the English, in all battles wars. The Scots are an ancient Celt culture and the Englush are Saxons who invaded after the Romans slinked away, in AD 400. Our Royal Family, is actually called, 'Sax-Coburg', of the Goethe line of Saxon hegemony. They had to change their name to Windsor, when the German Zeppelins bombed London, in the First World War, otherwise they feared civil war. And in Scotland, we were, and still are the focus of Special Operation military training, and this was where the Polish Military trained in the Special Services and Paratroops. And at the end of the war, thousands of you settled in Scotland, and I schooled with Poles, had my Polish neighbours (Mr Komisky), and worked beside you, (G Poltorak). However, few of you, or us Scots, got the recognition we deserved....and why? Because the blood-ties with the Royal Prussian Saxons and Russian Romanov cousins, would never permit, mere serf, foot-soldiers, to rise above their station in life. Since I was born in the 1950s, I know well, that my direct ancestors died and were badly injured, fighting for our monarchy, from China in the 1840s, to Gallipol in 1915....and we now know, that it was all in vain.....because we sacrificed our proud and ancient warrior cultures, to the beaurocratic swamp of that 'multicultural' EU, in the guise of the 'Politically Correct', dilution of our individual identities and unique proud cultures. It is in adversity that we recognise who we are and what we have always stood for. It did not begin with Feudalism, enforced by our kingly land owners. It began, 12,000 years ago. Let's not dilute our boundaries any further....Eh?
The lecturer completely omitted the fact, that in the East the peasants kept their land, while in the west the settlers where working in state own agricultural enterprises. Naturally, people owning their means of production tend to responsibility = Conservatism.
During partition pepole were born Poles bc theyre family were Poles they were thaught that theyre from the other culture and to be proud about that. About why Poland was attacked at the beginnig of WW2 it is simple firstly it was at the centre secondly Poles never surrender they were attacked from both sides by 2 europe superpowers almost at the same time and survived for more than month and even after deafeat theyre fought in other countrie for example during battle of england
A,b,c,d,e,f,g it's normal for you. For me is weird and the normal one for me is a,ą,b,c,ć,d,e,ę . English is not the most important language in the world and it cannot be said globally that its alphabet is normal. Such a statement is etnocentric and that is why English people are disliked around the world
The Racławice Panorama was in Lviv but it is not Ukraine. Lviv is a city taken from Poland by Stalin and incorporated into Russia and then into Ukraine. But Lviv is located in the area of Eastern Lesser Poland which for hundreds of years was part of the Kingdom of Poland and was never Ukraine.
25:20 - Dude, back it off. This question alone could potentially end in another World War. The safest answer is: there are as many variants of bigos out there as many there are Polish people and most of them are good. Interesting one is the original one - as no cabbage, meat stew that is made almost two weeks. Also you could argue that adding a little bit of vodka into it makes it better. One thing is clear though: It only gets better with time. Freshly made bigos is cool, but a few days old one is even better. It was made as a dish that wouldn't spoil so quickly and was perfect for long journeys back in the day.
Interesting thing to try with a potato: kumpir - basically a baked potato stuffed with whatever you want. Cheese and mushrooms? Meat? Other veggies? The answer is yes. Originally it's a Turkish dish, but I see it more and more in Poland in the past ten years. Man, I got hungry thinking about this potato goodness.
Za pomoc ukraincy pieknie nam dziekuja. Czeka nas bitwa z ukraincami, za malo im pomoglismy. Daj im palca, wezma cala reke, socjal, mieszkania, jeszcze im malo. Teraz nam groza wojna.
Germany and Russia have been attacking Poland for centuries. After the partitions by the Germans and Russians, Poland disappeared from the world map for 100 years. World War II 1939... Russia and Germany signed the Molotov Ribentrop Pact and attacked the copy. Germany September 1 Russia September 17 . after the war, the west betrayed Poland. At Yalta it was decided to give Poland back to Russia...50 years of communism
In total all polish pilots in the battle of Britain had about 60 confirmed kills out of 1883 Luftwaffe losses, 38.8 in 303 squadron, 14 in 303 squadron, and lets be generous and say 7.2 by poles in other raf squadrons. Flying hurricane kills were mostly light bombers as per rag jnstructions/tactics. At least 2 raf planes were shot down by poles, and pilots killed in the north west. For comparison Eric lock aged 21 flying sputfires had 21.5 kills in the b of b on his own, 17 of which were bf109's the Germans top fighter. The polish using fake statistics, spin, bs, lies, and bragging about things they haven't even done.
