1 handed moveset with this weapon is even bigger nuts ! It is so sad that you dont review it 😮💨 You should not underestimate it... its not just about damage ! Those running 1handed-R1 into fluid spin combo 🤤
Kult of Athena sells a basterd sword that looks just like that one in the game its full tang pinged to the Pommel the best budget sword I've ever spent money on , I recommend this sword to any collector
I hope they'll add some realistic (kick)boxing hand-to-hand weapon weapons too. Kind of want just straight jabs and crosses with simple low-kicks. That would truly be the perfect quality build. No armor, only some pants and gauntlets.
5:40 a tip for buff and healing incantations, they exclusively scale with the faith scaling of your seal, so erdtree seal is just objectively the best one for any buffs or healing incantations, assuming it's not getting a 25% seal boost from the seal matching the school of the incantation. you can test this by applying the buff with a seal that gets some scaling other than faith, testing damage, and then equipping an armor piece, talisman, or tear that boosts that other stat, buffing again, and testing again, it does literally nothing, but raising faith always makes the buff stronger regardless of seal. or try applying buff with something like clawmark and then something like erdtree, the latter will always be stronger unless it's getting boosted (e.g. blackflame blade with the godslayer seal, idk if that one even works bc black flame damage is weird) and even in cases where a seal boost would apply to a buff incant, it would be optimal to offhand the boosting item and still cast with erdtree seal.
The true combo with the sword of night doesn't work if your opponent has high poise. Me and a friend was battling online and I was able to roll out with full solitude armor.
I just wish we got an actual unique faith scaling katana with a badass lightning ash of war. Faith builds don’t have for whatever reason a lightning weapon, they are dex.
i love both of those, my 2 samurai builds use them both, the faith one uses Night, the int one uses Star-Lined, and i honestly like that one a little more xD
Star lined sword should have been a magic LGS, absolutely nothing different except all normal attacks are LGS. We didn't need ANOTHER magic katana, but it would have been nice to have a magic option that isn't stuck to a faith requirement
I was wondering whether the heavy attack speed increase would cause the SON to be able to heavy true combo from its uncharged ash of war now. It would appear I was correct lol. Though it's likely dependent on a decent connection. It likely won't combo on a laggy opponent.
8:36 whoever used the flowing curved sword to seal away that god of rot (mentioned in its description) must’ve performed some kind of incantation that involves dancing to do so if those are its heavy attacks
Hey man what is your near future plans in terms of the video game you cover. As elden ring related content is losing a lot of its engagement (which is really upsetting tbh it will forever remain in a special place in my heart). So I’m just curious will you double down on Elden ring or move to a different game?
