Hi, I'm Paige or Knovice Cosplay! I'm a cosplay performer and tutorial creator. I share my performances and cosplay tutorials of the costumes that I make. Hopefully they can help someone else working on the same character or a similar one!
What a kind complement thank you so much🥺 its rly hard to think of stuff for cons thank god Saw Ten came out otherwise i would have never thought of it fr ✊😅
came from insta.. i love your cosplay and performance 😭😭 was totally enamored. the voice for monokuma made me laugh tho fr.. spongebob who? the kaito and maki 😭😭😭 im crying.. this was truly our kaimaki moment
THANK YOU SO MUCH 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭lmfao you are not the first person to say my monokuma voice sounds like spongebob 😂 clearly i should do a spongebob performance next
they are not rubber stamps, they are just eva foam. every laser and foam is different so i do not share my settings. you have to experiment and dial in settings that work for you
hi great video :). Considering buying a laser because of it the one thing i wanted to ask was. Is there any more steps you didn't show in the video to take a premade pattern like the ears you mentioned and transferring them to the laser cutter?
I make my vectors in inkscape and use the lightburn laser software, im no expert in either, so i recommend checking out their official youtube channels for full walkthroughs!
no you have to figure out your own settings because your foam and laser will be different. plenty of guides and files available for tuning your settings
@@_ohbunny they just fit together so well! and did you know?!! the DR producer was partially inspired by Saw! gamecritics.com/guest-critic/interview-with-danganronpa-producer-yoshinori-terasawa/
I didn't have the sewing skills either when i first started! If you have ever thought you wanted to try sewing you should go for it! Of course there's also beautiful pre-made Aelita cosplays for purchase well! Cosplay is so fun if you want to try it!
You could engrave reptilian patterns for cosplays. Really, you could do any animal print. It might be possible to put tape on the fabric and then make a mask so you make a design with fabric paint. I think any animal print could be used. I suspect you might be able to remove the black color from a t-shirt with a lower power setting... I think you get the golden brown color from burning the cloth a bit. Thanks for the video!
THIS COSPLAY IS PERFECT. The Organization does not want this video to go viral. THIS VIDEO IS THE KEY OF STEINS;GATE!!! We must take actions! El Psy Kongroo
omg you are so sweet, thank you so much for the heartfelt compliment, I'm glad you liked it. this was a more experimental video we created so I think we could do WAY better if we tried again <3
to be honest i only use this for cosplays/costumes which I hand-wash anyways, but burning the fabric certainly makes it a bit fragile! I think you are absolutely correct. the brown/weird coloration's did go away after washing.
Hi! Been loving the video as it's been so helpful as my friend and I have been making her Halloween costume but we have a question. We're having trouble with the part with the side seams and turning it rightside out. When we did that we couldn't get the shoulders to come out. Can you elaborate on what we need to do to or what we're doing wrong?
oh man the vest stuff is a little hard to demonstrate/explain without photos, can you message me on instagram so i can try to help you troubleshoot a bit more?
I've done some EVA with my 50Watt CO2 laser. You have the advantage because my laser doesn't work below about ten percent power. And EVA needs the lower power. But my application needed much, much, much greater detail then you showed (I needed to resolve a 1 mm ring). P.S. I haven't found that color makes any difference. go ahead and cut white. I've even cut glass.
@@KnoviceCosplay Thanks, I just saw that in another video. I'll have to adjust my thinking about the low power diode laser I am putting together just to do low power stuff. Much appreciated!
Hi, one tip for cutting thin EVA (1.5 to 2mm) select your design and make an outline 0.25mm outside (delete the original design), it will cut much better because the heat shrinks the EVA by abou .5 to 1mm when cutting.
Good, short video, showing the various possibilities of the material. Thank you. PS : As I said in another comment, today we talk about the laser output wattage, not the energy consumption. Your 20 W laser is actually a 5 / 5.5 W laser. The page is confusing (marketing!) as indeed they push the 20 W value upfront, the real output is down the page…
it will vary depending on your laser. I will not quote the exact specs because I am not an expert and don't want to accidently give the wrong number. I emailed Laservision USA for guidance, and they recommended filters of OD8+ or OD10+ for my fox alien which reports around 445 NM wavelength. Based on their advice I purchased the P5P18 Filter, but this assumes that FoxAlien is measuring and reporting their laser NM correctly which I have no way to verify. lasersafety.com/product/p5p18/
SUPPOSEDLY the cheapo ones on amazon are rated for that wavelength but after Howard commented about the glasses I did more research and decided that saving $200 was not worth potentially burning my retinas
@@KnoviceCosplay I'm asking you your settings so that I can start experimenting. Everyone has to start at a base. I'm just asking what your speed and power is. If you don't want to tell me I'll understand, but at least come out and say you don't want to provide that information
The T shirt gave me an idea, what about using those UV inks, brush or spray on an area then laser the pattern to set the ink then wash off the excess, non set ink.
@@KnoviceCosplay Mimaki UV_LED Inkjet Printers etc. Not sure if those UV setting coloured craft resins would work, a bit lumpy? I used my laser on Bamboo coasters and noticed at low power it bleached the Bamboo lighter, there must have been a coating on the wood it burnt off without burning the wood? Is there UV activated bleach? Laser Mylar/polyester film to make template for painting? These cheap Lasers have lots of uses people are still playing with, ie Norton White Tile, Liquid paper has lots of TiO2, I have yet to try it.
