One way they could possibly give more depth to 141 in MWIV is showing us the earlier days of Soap amd Ghost joing Price's team in the SAS and seeing how they were treated by him and trained them up. I remember suggesting maybe having a game set during the Afghanistan war which could give us doors to have rebooted characters and factions come back. Such as the marines from CoD4 (Jackson, Vasquez and we already have Griggs), the Rangers (Foley, Dunn, Ramirez, Allen) and the Delta Force (Sandman, Grinch, Truck and Frost). Seemingly it also looked like Mace might've been inspired by Ghost, since he wears a similar mask. We could follow, again like Branwolf said a Ghosts game where many soldiers like Mace were inspired by Ghost's bravery and actions and come together to form the Ghost Team or offer up the chance to form a team like that. They could also give us more backstory on Makarov. Maybe show us a younger version of him along with Yuri Volkov. Theres a they can do to make the story more fun but idk why they dont ever decide to do it 😕
The best result of a rebooted Black Ops would be the fixing of continuity errors and allowing characters like Adler to be in the story without having to finagle the story beats and timeline
with how small 141 is its odd and its a problem that their always apart the reason why it worked in the original mw series with 141 always being split up was because their were more members so it made a little more sense
Also I would’ve ditch Urzikstan after MW1 campaign finished. Like maybe Russia made a ceasefire with Urzikstan and help rebuilt its infrastructure and government. Despite ULF being labeled a terror organization by US government. But Russia would understand the ULF and decide to let them be. This action by Russia would consequently increase member numbers for the ultranationalists. They saw the ceasefire as a form of weakness. Maybe set it a new location. Maybe Adal. Maybe Chernarus and the green sea region. Maybe let Farah handle leading the ULF despite the nations military being fixed and formed again. Maybe she finds Alex and that he’s been found alive without a leg. 🦵. This creates a romance relationship between Alex and Farah.
I feel like instead focusing on a couple characters, then it would be better to have more soldiers from US, UK, Canada and Australia to play together in a part in campaign.
In the gta verse, Farah worked in the setting of Urzikstan. As well as Roman Barkov. Because Barkov used to be a smaller military rank. Lieutenant or something lower than general. But above sergeant. Barkov was more of a follower in 1999 as some general of his. Who worked with the red army. In this universe, the Soviet Union didn’t collapse. But became a confederation of Eurasian republics. Centered on Moscow. Barkov was following orders. He caught young Farah and Hadir. But he cared for their safety from the brutality of his general. Who was much crueler than Barkov. Believe it or not. Barkov saved Hadir and Farah from the general who had a terrible way with kids. The generals sick in the head. Barkov despised him for that. He followed war time. But not war crimes considered too brutal for his limits to be made. Barkov ousted the general and took over the rank. He ruled Urzikstan with parts of the country being tourist safe zone and others are war zones. He earned his riches from the general he ousted and the investment for Urzikstan rebuilding for tourism. He’s ruling Urzikstan in keeping insurgents off the green zones. Farah sees Barkov as an invader. Despite how he saved Hadir and Farah at a young age. That bit would make it feel more grey than black and white.
Modern warfare iii 2023 didn’t have us character development with four major British soldiers of task force 141. That’s maybe why that games story was very bad. The last game had a ghost and soap relationship development
To me the main problem with TF 141 on The reboot was that they didn't feel like an Actual "Task Force" It was kinda like a Team of 3 British, One Scotland, One Urzikistan Lady and One American being lead by a CIA Agent. On The original trilogy they felt like a Real task Force because on missions like Contingency you don't see the 141 NPC Carrying one flag only, they were Carrying US, UK and Even Canadian Flags. They always Operate together and that made you cared for them. On the reboot they just made them like It was another cast for the next fast and furious movie ngl Like always, great video as usual bro!

The problem is they were tryna make it like MW2019. Alex and Farah is one pov and Price and Gaz were the other. That was done well in MW because Alex was a CIA operative working with the ULF and Price and Gaz were members of the SAS. I feel like the new series is missing a very important aspect of the what the Original MW series did, the standard military missions with marines or army rangers. I agree TF-141 should be together most of the time. In my opinion, the series should have done something like this: Standard Military Unit goes in on a mission with standard equipment and weapons. They end up discovering something that alarms the CIA and ends up attracting the attention of TF-141. TF-141 hunts for the top dogs of the enemy faction and the more powerful weapons, while the Standard Military Unit goes on standard military operations like regular fire fights. Through each mission both TF-141 and the standard military unit are aware of the events going on in each side like lets say the standard military unit is fighting a huge battle with enemies, TF-141 goes in to another area during that battle while the enemies are distracted. This is what i think would have made the game better.
I feel like the biggest problem with the reboot Task Force 141 is that it's just made up 4 SAS soldiers and General Shepherd and Laswell. The original Task Force 141 was made up 85 soldiers from US, UK, Canada and Australia who all played a part in campaign.
I still say soap and gaz should have been the new partners in mw3 and ghost and price being old guys banding up together and set up that price and especially ghost has a past a unfinished business and the juniors of the team are experiencing the events unfolding
Its a little weird the team relationship in mw3 like some sort they didn't liked each other or something but in mw2 we can see soap has some respect especially hes the kid of the squad he looks up to ghost and price he has a specific dialogue in mw2 where he mentions he trust captain after getting betrayed by graves and that other scene where ghost takes his mask off you can see the genuine smile on price's face but in mw3 it felt flat like they tried to build them like a family but really was a soldiers team

That would've been awful, just like the mw reboots. Mw19 was the only good one cause it was also a prequel and kinda reboot, it makes sense except for the timeline. With the sequels they ruined all the great stuff from the originals, Sheperds betrayal, no russian, etc. same thing would happen with a bo reboot. They would just end up absolutely ruining it, treyarch aren't complete dumbasses tho, thankfully
@@channel45853 It actually makes perfect sense. The original story is amazing, if mason were to live or die in a different way, it would just be a dumb what if scenario. If he died the same way then might aswell remaster the original. The black ops series does not need a reboot, it still has plenty of pieces to put into the timeline, the modern warfare series did not need a full on reboot either. The rebooting bs is getting out of hand

I thought black ops Cold War was supposed to be a soft reboot. Back ops 1 is cannon and black ops Cold War is the continuation with some events from BO2 being cannon. The flashbacks
Wierd question but isn't the second cold war the war that is going during black ops ii? It lasted from 2018 to 2034 with the third cold war starting in 2037 and still ongoing as shown in bo3. At the same time the modern warfare story is showing us all this political fallouts or near political fallouts that could lead to conflict. There isn't any major wars other the the 2nd cold war going on besides makarov's invasion of Urzikstan. (Well at least that i know of)
Well Now i'm not So Sure about what Activision Cares more, Black Ops or Modern Warfare, from the Looks of it MW is Gettin' all of the Attention This Year, But Maybe 2025 Would be the Year of Black Ops, Hope we see My GOAT Raul Menendez.
I think the reason for this because was the development crunch they had very less time and work from home was also a thing at that time so they threw the burden of reboot out of box and simply made canon to previous titles

In this universe, Argentina does actually join the axis and Argentina aids fascist Chileans and the Germans and the under the radar Draka aid their axis allies. And this allowed Chile to cause another war on the pacific type war and the southern country of Aquila and a royal country of westarctica aid against the axis. And grande Peru stood strong and survived. This allowed the rise of the Andean community. A third party that is more in tone with the Monroe doctrine than the USA or Brazil. Keeping American states for Americans. Not ruled or influenced by foreign powers. It took itself very seriously when solis turned into an authoritarian ally of Draka. This angered Brazil and by extent the USA. And this allowed Peru to become an important player as well as Aquila to stop the Draka influence of the Americas. However the Cold War ended and the Draka are no longer a world power. This caused some instability as its warmongering caused debt and wealth inequality that Peru was on the cusp of civil war and Aquila was already suffering from economic collapse that even perus civil war extended beyond Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela. The Tel Aviv war caused the USA to involve itself in that country over protecting South America and China swept aiding the rebels and some opposition who resist the Andean community. This allowed a new order in Peru and the Andes to rise. The federation of South America. That ghosts federation. A rogue nation backed by China. And Aquila is reduced to an independent nation. Only used as a trading hub for China as well as the USA and Japan. But they compete to influence Aquila. And by extension the federation. However the corporations and national question of sovereignty create tension between the Aquila and the federation. Thus the federation war. But it’s set in 2025 instead of 2017.
Im not against it...i would have preferred to see Hudson and mason lived a little longer than they did...but im fine what we're getting but it does make timeline a little messy I'm gonna be honest
Underrated game. In my opinion, this game did not deserve the hate it got. Although the MP had some issues, it was still a great MP experience especially as the games life went on. The problem with this game was that it came out right after black ops 2 & at the same time as the ps4 & Xbox one released.
