Whether it's the open waters (CRUISING) or open road (MOTORCYCLE RIDING), we are going places and taking you with us!
Hello and Welcome to our channel! We are a lifestyle channel where we as twins use our own unique personalities, likes and interests to educate, entertain, and encourage others through content focused on Melinda's cruising adventures and Melissa's motorcycle adventures.
Melissa's videos revolve around the Motorcycle Lifestyle including motorcycle rides, trips, vlogs and events. She shares info about her motorcycle (a Harley Davidson Road Glide 3) and preparedness as it pertains to the ride. She also shares info about the roads she travels, the historical sites and points of interest along her routes, and the places she visits.
Melinda's videos revolve around her experiences aboard cruise ships: travel vlogs, ship and cabin tours, history and info about ports of call, and tips that make her cruising trips economical and enjoyable.
God bless you as well . I just purchased myself a 2022 Tri Glide last week . I need to get used to the steering as it is quite abit different from my 2 wheel motorcycle .
Hello, Melissa Love watching your videos. I am looking into gett ing a three wheeler. You are giving me so much inspiration to move forward. I live in Massachusetts and am wondering when you will be in the area and if it would be possible to meet you all.
We’re sailing on the Refection in November. Would we be able to request a table for two next to a window in the main dining room? BTW- you gals do excellent, informative vlogs!
My experience with set dining times is they assign ahead of time, before the cruise. You can go to the Maître d' and ask for a table change. I am not sure how they prioritize the coveted window seats. As for anytime dining, you can always request it when you go to check in for dinner. It is a crap shoot. I hope you are able to get the table you want. Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy your cruise!
Dogwood Canyon is a must stop if you ever get back to the area. Very Beautiful park. I could spend an entire day just sitting by the creek listening the water, enjoying the scenery and reading a book!
I've ridden for years and I have this saying, I don't know if original but I'm pretty old so it might be. Quote: I never start off in the rain but I've ended up in it lots of times. By the way, at the end of June, I traded my all black Ultra Classic, for a 2024 all black Road Glide 3. I never thought I would ride a trike but its grown on me since I've bought it.
Semper fi!!! Awesome Video. I’m an old Marine with Marine corps hips and knees lol. Really looking into going from 2 wheels to 3. So glad if found your channel. Love your content!
Semper Familia! Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. I LOVE OUR MARINES-- past, present and future service. Thank you so much for your service.
Nice additional footage! I am in MA if there is anything I can help with, planning, routes, things to see, or assistance once in the area, please let me know.
Awesome...thank you. We will be staying in Raynham a couple of nights. Going to get my 10K service at Cape Cod Harley Davidson at the recommendation of some of my husband's MC brothers.
Melissa! Great video. It was like i was along for the ride. When it ended i was like what? I was mesmerized by the serenity of the moment. I didn't even notice you didn't narrate. I was just along for the ride. I think i said that. 😁 ............. 😎👍👍
Great content, Ive really enjoyed following your adventures. The amount of miles your have traveled is truly impressive. One question, when is Kayla going to start riding her own bike, she has a ton of experience backpacking with you. It would be cool to see her following in your footsteps. My son got me in to Harleys, I have a 2024 Street Glide and my son has a 2021 Street Glide Special. My wife likes being on 3 wheels, so I ride a 2020 TriGlide when she rides with me. Looking forward to your upcoming journey videos.
Kayla wants to get her own motorcycle, but she is trying to save her money and get a car first. I would love for her to be able to ride her own. She wants to ride on her own. I am praying that when we do our Southwest trip that she will have a motorcycle by then, but we are not sure. Thank you so much for watching. Dream come true to get to do these rides. I praise the Lord everyday for the health and PTO from work so that I can do it. I would love to retire from my full time job and do it full time, but that too is a dream for now.
Ha, yes I am organized, but I was not as organized as I should have been. That is something I am learning to do BEFORE going...research the area. Thank you so much for watching.
SOOOOOOOOO Glad you added the additional Footage !...Thank You ! Was an enjoyable ride it would appear...Look forward to the rest ! Glad Gina is able to join you on the next Adventure ! Ride Safe & God Bless Melissa !!!
I enjoy supporting your videos and channel because I enjoy the views from the states and places that you and Kayla stay at or visit I learned alot from you guys about the places and bridges that you cross and I appreciate you taking us on this amazing journey with you guys I can't wait for more videos from you I'll definitely will be supporting those as well your doing amazing job at editing and posting keep up the good work
Looking forward to those other videos from last year's trip... and cannot wait to see the videos you come up with for this year's trip. Looks so exciting. That route was beautiful. Enjoyed just sitting back and watching. Glad you shared more of it.
Appreciate all the in’s and outs plus the hidden gems. You are so correct about cruising not being so economical. Booked a cruise for Alaska on this ship and was like wow!!! Prices are steep. So “settled” for an inside room to make sure we have a generous budget for excursions. So your video did give me “hope” that there is all kinds of ways to see the beauty of Alaska. Thanks for sharing
It’s awesome y’all are getting to cross the states off together. Riding all 50 is on my list as well. The 48 on what ever bike I own and Alaska and Hawaii on rentals. I’ve only got about 18 crossed off so far but I’m working on it.
I would love Alaska, but I will have to get my nerves up for that one (going through some pretty desolate areas scares me). Unless Hawaii rents trikes, I will not be riding there. Thank you so much for watching. I love Arkansas and want to go back...when I have more time.
Great ride and great video my wife and I really enjoy watching your videos and we always look forward to the next one God bless. And thank you for sharing.
You never disappoint us with your great videos. Looks like you are having a blast on your trip. Thankyou for sharing with us. Best wishes to you and all that ride with you. Jonathan 🇬🇧
Thank you. We had a blast on that trip-- September 2023. I am just running behind in the editing process LOL. I am trying to get these done before I start my August 2024 Northeast Trip.
I have a 2009 Fat Boy and 2022 CVO Tri Glide. I liked your first video concerning you 2021 CVO Tri Glide but was very surprised you traded it in (for a loss) for a 22 RGS. Then turned around and added, for extra expense, such items that were on you CVO like Kahuna heated hand gripes and footboards, a more comfortable rider seat that still has no back rest and speakers with less storage space and smaller engine? Are you still glad you switched from a CVO to a RG3?
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I absolutely LOVED the CVO, but honestly, it was having issues they seemed to never be able to confirm or figure out why it was happening, so trading it was not extremely hard to do. They did finally figure it out and fixed the problem. The main reason I love the RG3 is I love the simple open feel and sporty look. I always preferred the Freewheelers but wanted the Faring. Now the RG3 has the fairing and I am loving it. The Triglide to me is bulky feeling. Yes, great storage, but for just riding around, I love the RG3. I hope that answers your questions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7QoILsuExg8.html
@@MidLifeStyleTwins Got and thanks. You are right about the bulk compared to my Fat Boy or RG3, but I had back surgery and did not want to give up the riding I have done for the last 53 years. Therefore, I went with the 3-wheel version Tri Glide that my wife wanted due to the seat/back comfort. I tried to talk her into getting her own like you. I am curious since I have the 2022 CVO, what was the problem they finally fixed? Hope it is not generic to CVO Tri Glides. I have only 500 miles on mine with no problems. Thanks, and "Live to Ride, Ride to Live.
@@norse2459 they ended up having to change the control panel- the electronic brains. It would not start … several times. Gina (who owns it now and was on the trip with me) said it is running beautifully now. HD is not sure why it was having so many problems. Sadly all these newer motorcycles have those electronic components in them…something does sometime go bad.
Another great video as usual, that's what I plan to do is to make it to as many states as possible ,going to Wisconsin in 2 wks for the harley Davidson festivities, keep putting on the road trips and great videos, it's really nice to see your daughter traveling with you and your friend, take care of yourself and God Bless you and your family and friends Amen 🙏
