This got recommended to me now, didn't even search for it. I just bought an elastic band and cut of a piece, then sewn it to hold my essential cards, no need for the extra pieces of aluminium.
Great review thank you. I've been using the mini 5 as a pocket notebook/wallet for about a year now and I have to say, after searching for a decade for the right pocket notebook, I feel no need to keep searching. This is the notebook of my dreams even after heavy daily use. I use it for ideas, lists, disposable writings, transferable writings, things I need to refer back to. For the most part I just rewrite what I need to save into a bound notebook but I do, at times, just pull the mini page out and stick it into the notebook. I have also paired it with the Liliput BP for the exact reasons you mentioned and again, I feel no need to look for anything else. It's perfect. I go back and forth on using the elastic band but for now I've landed on not using it as it stays shut on it's own, I find it even more accessible without it, and it practically lives in my pocket so I just don't need the extra security. Accessibility, flexibility, and the sheer joy of holding and looking at this notebook have been the most important aspects of this notebook.
Lol, I am 40 and have been using the same tri fold former chain wallet since I was in the 6th grade. It's clear vinal with holo and a yellow orange and green daisy on the front with a holo yellow happy face in the middle. I got it from Gadzooks. It is being held together by crystal Gorilla tape. I absolutely love it and will probably ask to be cremated with it. But I love watching these videos for some reason!
Too bad. I have been using Dvorak for all my life since Dvorak became available on keyboards and on PC. It is meant for two-hand speedy touch-typing, not finger poking with cell phones.
Wow! I have a not so long beard and searched for how to "Iroh" it, and found your tutorial! Amazing. Thanks for making such beautiful content. Much love!
I feel like if they wanted to make a watch with more "real estate" that is truly compatible with small wrists, it would need to have a flexible screen that wraps around your wrist like a wide cuff bracelet. I feel like any Apple watch would very big on me, as I am a small woman with a small wrist even for a woman.
use phone or smartwatch voice memo app to voice record your speak aloud ideas when you are out and about. Go home, listen to recording and hand write with pen on A4 notebook journal.
Bowing is going very well……but most people will flee in 10 second into this video and never return: …..Rule nr. one…Always mute the backing noise(muzak) when speaking.
I use the universal Rite In The Rain pocket notebooks (3” x 5”) primarily bc they’re waterproof. Survives work, rain, sweat, weather. They have horizontal lines with an overlay of vertical columns made of dots, making a grid. Write, note, draw. Or if you’re short on kindling, do a purge. 😄Currently using the spiral bound sort that flips up (what moleskin calls a reporter notebook). In theory I’m not crazy about having a spiral piece of metal in my pocket bc it might snag, but practically, unless it got mashed out of shape it hasn’t been a problem. I somewhat prefer the bound notebook more, but I do need to pull out sheets from time to time, so it’s got to be this one. I that like them. 🤷♂️
So you don’t think a 5D MIV with a grip or a 1D X will fit if it’s on its side? The dimensions say the depth is a little over 7”; granted, I didn’t see internal dimensions so not sure. Great video and appreciate your feedback.

Cool product. I’m currently using the Lochby pocket and Lochby journal. I have two field notes notebooks in the pocket and 4-notebooks on the journal. I travel for work job site to job site and need something for measurements, contacts, simple math, etc. I think something like this would be great. Maybe I could shelve the Lochby pocket for this and just use the Lochby for a commonplace notebook. Thanks for the video.
Fantastic review of the plotter. I was looking for something like this since I had the same problems as you 😂 I'm a fashion designer. Form + function are a must. My EDC is very functional, but not that beautiful, just ok. This looks superb, especially with the pen, and so slim that it's totally worth the extra money. I journal, sketch, track calendar all in my notebook so a compact setup is ideal so it can fit in my purse. I refuse to carry a brick (heavy purse) like my friends and sisters. Haha. I was using a field notes 3.5 x 5.5. how much bigger / smaller is this Mini 5 size?
It’s kind of funny the audios messed up because I just watched like the best items video. This guy made, and one item was his audio, and another item was a scanner and the scanner companies like out of business.
Yeah, I really have no idea what went wrong with the audio on this one. I'll just must be rusty. As far as Raven... don't get me started. Very disappointing and out of the blue.
@@KeliFancher well I can definitely say that the writing experience is pretty good but my favorite part about it is, that it is very slim, and before I found the muji I feel like many fountain pens were to wide for me
The Sound is alright, but your tie triggers my inner perfectionist. Thank you for your video, you produce really great content, you definitely deserve a lot more followers.
