Experience the joy of rubber powered model aircrafts. Stick and tissue models need craftsmanship and perseverance rather than a lot of material and money to be successful. On this channel I would like to present handmade models that hopefully fly well.

My name is Andreas Koch. I live and fly in Switzerland, exactly where the holey cheese 'Emmentaler' comes from.
Professionally, I run the bicycle repair shop ' www.velokoch.ch '

I know it's an older video, but could I get some information on the PZL P.24 shown in 2.50-3.05 minute? Like what plans, motor, availability, etc? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. Great models.👍

The model was built and flown by George Kandylakis. It's best to ask him on his channel, he has made several videos of this model. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-USFp__WmlPM.htmlsi=nxYcuXJ9SyNEWY3n

I wish people would be more accurate. This is NOT a normal Pipert J-3 Cub; this is a CLIPPED WING J-3, specifically the Reed Conversion once popular as an entry level aerobatic ship. And for those who don't know, what makes it suitable for competition aerobatics is NOT that it can do the maneuvers, it is that you can make a bad.mistake and not DIE, because suitable control stops have been included to keep from damaging control surfaces during accidental tail slides. If you make a scale J-3 out of this kit, the span goes to 15" which.means it is no longer a Peanut. So please- don't be sloppy with what you call it- you might mislead someone into thinking the kit will yield a normal J-3 when in fact it won't.

I'm just finishing constructing my P51 from the Vintage Model Company. Watching him wind up the rubber band I had no idea that is how it is supposed to be done ! Pity he didn't show some of the construction and trimming it up before his first flight. It's amazing how far it can fly just with a rubber band.

They fly incredibly well! Mine were built a bit bigger with slightly better propellers. Flown in the video with a good 600 turns, so only half of what would be possible. My older video of the collection : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lDR-ZDYsO6A.html

What a great video a group of total strangers with a common interest gather together to have a fun day in the sun and make new friends. That’s what it is all about, an activity that brings youngsters of all ages together in an activity every one can afford and enjoy. Best of luck to all pilots as they learn to build, tweak and most of all enjoy the hobby.

Don’t give up, perhaps it’s the particular model you’re building and how you build it. Weight is everything the lighter the better its chances it will fly. Also learning how to trim a model once built makes a lot of difference. There are RU-vid videos showing how to build and trim basics for beginners. Watch and learn. Most of all it’s about the enjoyment of the build and having fun best of luck to you

When I was a little kid, I spent two weeks building a rubber band powered airplane. I tuned it, did small test and then I proceeded to wind it up all the way. I was full up excitement and let it go. It flew perfectly. Up, then strait, then up, then strait.... Over the houses and out of site. I never sow it again.

Many thanks. I would like to bring a vid about the trailer and case and also a detailed one about the rubber braiding. BUT there is a problem: I only speak the bare minimum of English without a translation programme! So I prefer to make flight videos.
@KK-TO
@KK-TO Месяц назад
@@rubberflyWell I only speak a minimal amount of Schwizertitsch Mundart (enough to understand your grumbling about the change in wind direction!), but I think much of your “art” transcends spoken word and images convey 90% of what you are doing. But I admit, the crucial 10% may need subtitles. In any case, I really appreciate what you do post and I think you are a real credit to the community.

FANTASTIC!!!🤗 BRILLIANT FLIGHTS!!!😃 VERY NICE MODEL, ACCURATELY BUILT AND FLOWN!!!😎 CONSISTENT FLIGHT PATTERN...🤓 WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THIS MODEL?! (SPANWISE, WEIGHT,...) AND THE SIZE OF RUBBER AS WELL... YOU SAID YOU USED A "HALF MOTOR" FOR TORQUE AND TURNS!!!?🤔🤔🤔 I CAN SEE FROM THE VID WHEN YOU HOLD AND SHOW THE "MOTOR" IN YOUR HANDS THAT YOUR RUBBER HAS A COMPLEX BRAIDING PATTERN WITH MANY LOOPS!!!🤓 HOW DOES IT AFFECT THE FLIGHT IN GENERAL AND HOW COULD IT PREVENT THE MODEL TO FLIGH AWAY DESPITE THE FULL TORQUE AND TURNS?!🤔 WHY DONT YOU USE A THIN & LIGHT PLYWOOD BOARD OR EVEN A LONG WIDE BALSA STRIP AS A RUNWAY INSTEAD OF PLASTIC?🤔 IT COULD FIT AS WELL ON YOUR BICYCLE!!!🚵😉 COOL MUSIC AS USUAL!!!🎼😉 BRAVO ET MERCI DE NOUS FAIRE PARTAGER VOTRE PASSION!😊 BIS BALD!!!😉
