The gentleman giving the video said once the handle goes in the trailer is hooked. When I hooked up a couple months ago in Colorado the handle went in but the trailer was not hooked and fell on the bed of the truck. I called pullrite And asked them if in fact if they handle went in does that mean it’s hooked and their reply was no because you can what they call hook it high and the handle will still go in!!
@@1964cht look on RU-vid for videos on the proper way to hook up a pull right hitch but don’t trust the handle going in that the unit is hooked to the trailer
I have one. It's a great hitch. Just make sure you use that WD-40 ! and keep the slack adjusted or the hitch will bang around when you're no hooked up to your trailer Thanks for the video. It is nice to see someone doing things correctly. As an old retired trucker, I know what to watch for.
My dad and I built two of your Queens 9 years ago. One was for me, one for their guest bedroom. Now one is my sister's and one is my grandma's. They are still tanks. I'm looking to build one for my daughter now, this'll be it. Really appreciate you sharing this design. These beds have kind of become a fixture in my family.
This is a very nice build. To make moving easier, though, I would suggest that instead of using screws to put sides on, you could drill holes and bolt it on. The bolt heads should be more esthetic as well as a bonus.
@@1964cht now on your cultist and in the beginning of the video is says you only used 2 2x4 but when I added everything up I have to use 3. How did you only use 2? I’m just trying to save money.
I made my own years ago. Took a piece of 11/2 inch square steel tube, cut it at an angle, drilled a hole in it, painted it black just like the bracket. I used a chain, cut to fit, with chain quick link connectors. All this fits in a crown royal bag or I leave it on, using a small bungie to keep it from banging around. Cables are a pain to store.
Back in the olden days, the Pastry Company was called Honey Bear Bakery. Story goes that the baker’s son earned an impressive scholarship to university after being homeschooled. The family moved to Seattle, and customers funded a whole new bakery near Green Lake.
this is an older model, so not sure where you could find the attachments that hold the cloths. there's one that holds the dry cloth for sweeping, and another one that holds liquids for mopping.
I saw videos of this in silver Bullit ? Looked amazing that’s what I want to use, not looking forward to re ring the concrete sander though that’s the tougher part - prep right ?
I got lucky when I did mine because the concrete was new. didn't have to do the sanding. but I know prep is the most important part. I've seen that color, it looks awesome!
Holden Village above Lucerne is operated by the Lutheran Church (ELCA). I used to go there for youth group retreats in high school. IT's a great place!
No, it's the offset of the wheels. I wish I knew the exact specs of the wheels because people have asked. The accessory dept of the dealership showed me a photo of a truck they had just installed wheels on, I liked it, so we went with it. I did another video shortly after where fender flares were installed and I love them!
Today I finished making this full-sized bedframe. Solid and sturdy as a rock. Followed all board sizes to perfection according to the instructions on this video. Exactly. The only problem is the bedframe is too small and too tight for my new Sealy in a box full sized memory foam mattress. I had to squeeze it into the frame. Won't work for us. A waste of money and much time. What a shame because I really liked this bedframe.
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I went by measurements online of a full mattress. 54" x 74". my granddaughter's mattress fits perfectly. would love to know the measurement of your mattress.
On the Wayfair website, it states that the dimensions of the full sized mattress is 54" wide by 75" long. Even that is too tight into the bedframe. After the bed in a box "puffed out" to it's full size, it is actually 54 1/2" x 77". So to be able to use your bedframe at all with this mattress, I had to raise the 2x2's up to where the 1x6 slats were flush with the top of the side rails which makes the bed very high. (mattress is 12"). If it ends up being too high, I will simply cut the bottom of the legs until the height is OK.@@1964cht
Final adjustment: took off the 2x2's and lowered them to 2 1/2" down the siderail so the mattress could be about an inch into the frame. This way the slats no longer showed back when the mattress was flush with the top. So, it turned out OK. Thanks for responding! @@1964cht
I had this hitch for 2 years and worked well with my short bed F-250. However, there is a learning curve to this hitch. Once you figure out the nuances of this hitch, it works great. It’s very noisy and clunker. When it starts making excessive noise you can adjust the hitch by tightening up the bolt that is behind the hitch. Spray it down with lots of WD-40 and all is good. Not gonna lie, I bought a full size bed truck with a standard hitch and the standard receiver is so so so easy to connect and disconnect your rig.
