For safety, an electric battery power reciprocating saw is the best to do a tree max 20 inches with a 12 inches blade. I use my Milwaukee M18 sawzall and super sawzall to do yard works cut down trees large and small. For a fast cut, I use an electric chainsaw. For a large diameter tree over 28 inches, I use my Husqvarna 460 Ranch with a 24 inches bar. Proud to fell a small or large tree.
Nice chainsaw because it doesn't make a lot of noise and it doesn't have to consume as much electricity as a 15 AH. Now I am skeptical if I have to choose between a (9-12 AH) 16 in or (15AH 18 in)
