Learning Traditional Plant medicine has to go hand in hand with ecology preservation. It is pointless to have all these knowledge only to find that these plants have gone extinct because we decided to clear the land for civilization. Then scientists go back to labs to create synthetic versions which is essentially modern drugs. It goes in circles. Not saying TCM is unimportant, in fact very important for everyone to afford their own healthcare. But we must all do our parts to encourage the growth of natural ecology. ✌️
Why is the go to always western medicine is pills and surgery? every child is taught about nutrition, good sleep, exercise 30-45m a day etc for their whole lives then when they become fat lazy and eat poorly they cry that western medicine needs to amputate their rotting legs

I call bs! Sustainability? Overharvesting? 'Export that chemistry and put it in other organisms "????!! Stealing from Nature before you destroy it or make it illegal ! Is there any current reseach based on plant derived medicine? If so, what type of illness is it being applied to? Not to be negative, but I believe that this approach will never be applied in the western civilization due to most of the people like a little pill, capsule or syrups to deal with most ailments. People use it in the west, but by themselves. I myself take several herbs for my health. Chamomile and st john wort helped me overcome anxiety disorders and depression,

I got cancer and have full time medication with western medicine until I finished all necessary treatment I've lost a lot . Then I take TCM to alleviate my recuperation. It's been 10yrs I keep drinking herbal meds.
