Hi! I just came across your channel. I know this is a very strange question but, I am interested in renting this chair from you if at all possible! My gramma has a full hip replacement surgery this September and I have a staircase in my house that is the only path to our walk in shower. She lives with me. These chairs are $2,000+ and I just cannot afford it. Thats more than i make per month and I have to pay rent and utilities by myself. I'd really be honored if i could rent your mobile chair for her first 2 weeks after surgery for $500, if you're willing! ❤️ I will pay for shipping/delivery and I will happily sign a contract that holds me liable for the safety of the chair while I borrow it. Let me know if you see my comment and if you might be able to let me rent your chair ma'am! ❤
It appears to. be a motorized version of the dolly chair I have seen paramedics use to aid in getting individuals out of a seccond floor that do not require a full gurney.
My buddy bought a used lift, no instructions. I came across your video and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to film your project. Getting a visual with commentary from you both was a tremendous help!
Other than adding grab posts what else should i think about when adapting an industrial platform lift 24 " x 40" safe for personal use? Verttical rise of 16 inches ( two stair)
It is completely different from other vehicles, no space for passengers that is why soldiers hate humvee, no Ac no window slides no fresh air only sand comes from different leakes.
Well, this one requires an assistant so it's a little like how paramedics have a skidded chair. During first year Engineering, we had to do a design project and one group did a stair climbing wheel chair that was similar to this with an inclined track on the back but for a hendicap user to use themself without a helper. During their presentation, in the Q and A, I asked "But wouldn't this leave them on their back at the top of the stairs?" and they answered, we were hoping that no one would notice. The elevator and chair lift can be used by a person by themself but this solution requires a helper and preferably two. For my mother, we used a travel chair for this in a similar fashion but labourishly lifting it up step by step.
