I’m a one-man HVAC shop working the trade for over 30 years, self-taught from trial and error, Doing installs, repairs, and maintenance for Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning; my channel consists mainly of videos doing those things. Started my business in 2006. I recently started having my 19-year-old son work with me to learn what it takes in this business. This way, he will have some skills to make things happen.
Well done. Have a question, how to set a Fujitsu simple controller uty-rsry function 7 to enable. Somehow it says operation prohibited for me. Your help is greatly appreciated.
All that circuitry is bound to break and cost a fortune over a simple contractor and capacitor setup. Lower bills I know but just don’t like all the expensive complexities
The 13.7 amps doesn’t have anything to do with the 5-2-1 though right. Should have compared the startup amps right? Running steady state amps would be the same. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks
Nice work dudes. I have installed 9 Bosch systems in the past 5 weeks and customers are loving them. I have actually been installing Bosch equipment for 6 years now. I have 3 more Bosch systems on the books for next 2 weeks. The $2k tax credit and a $2k utililty company rebate really helps offset the price for customers. I install mainly the 2.0 Bosch systems and have installed several 15 Seer2 Bosch light units to that are also awesome. You most likely know you can match up a 15 Seer2 Bosch light outdoor unit with a 2.0 Bosch air handler and hit the #s to qualify for $2k federal tax credit and rebates from local power company. Keep up the awesome work guys. Cheers from Baltimore Maryland \,,/\,,/
Brand new unit? Owning my own business hvac in Cali. My guys start a unit and need to use a hard start or smart start or unit saver. Calling the rep and getting either a replacement unit or compressor.
Something that I never disclosed!! until now. I don't typically do any commercial work. When I looked at this Job I did not look at the Phase of the Electrical and I should have. So we removed a 3 phase 4 ton AC the Unit needed much less due to it's on the Ground floor and 3 walls are under ground. I installed a 3 or a 3-1/2 ton so the power was 208 3-Phase the Ac is rated for 240-208. When i was hearing the compressor Instantly realized that I had one of the incorrect legs of power on it. So once I did some testing and switched the legs around and Added that HS everything is fine. This was a year ago and was just there about 3 weeks ago and everything is Normal.
I watched as a refresher before I clean my unit. It's Amazing how doing this drops your a/c bill. And it doesn't need to be filthy for you to notice the difference. When I see my a/c bill creeping up, I clean it. I usually do 3 times per season, once at begging of season, once in middle, and at end before I cover for the winter...
I have about six systems out there just installed another one on Tuesday. That video will be out on Friday. The only issue that I have had is on the 15 Seer the board had a recall. But knock on wood they all have been running great and my customers love theirs. What have you been seeing?
You rock! So informative I have a goodman furnace and compressor Makes the loud buzzing sound while running. There are a few within a few blocks of my home snd they seem loud too. One if my friends said goodmans are notoriously loud. Is that true. Its about 72-78 db Working well and cooling the home Should I swap out contact or just leave it? And bad capacitor wouldn’t make the buzzing sound right? Keep up the great work my friend!
I like this brand. All of my air conditioners are Fujitsu's. I used to purchase gree and midea air conditioner, but all of them were bad on heating up in winters, after few years attemped I found Panasonic is better than all of Chinease brand, but Fujitsu is better than Panasonic. Fujitsu air conditioner is not only efficient by also worth for the price. Unfortunately, most Chinese people think fujitsu is not a famous brand an not cheaper enough. Their opinion caused them to stay in a cold room during winters and very high electric cost in summers.
@@ADVANHVAC I'm having that issue. It's sticking in the condenser stays on forever. I already put 3 new 40 amps. Contacts, and it still does the same. That'll be a bat capacitor on it. Maybe the compressor is drawing a lot of amps?
I am an Instructor for the local Apprenticeship program. PSC (permanent split capacitor) compressors have very little starting torque. I prefer the Kickstart T05 or KS1. The added start capacitor starts the compressor quicker and keeps the start winding from overheating, most older heat pump units came from the factory with start assist. I am also a Commercial HVAC technician since 1999.
In my previous house i changed filters every 3 months Amana (Goodman) furnace and heat pump only parts the system needed since 2008 was a board for outdoor unit and the reversing valve.
Did you swipe the compressor? If i was your customer i going to ask a compressor replacement because the unit was brand new after paying big cash for ac or heat pump i want it to be original as much as possible without any hard start. Im not an exigent customer but yeah these are not cheap either . Love your stuff.
Do you have a video showing how to clean the coil on a furnace that has the evaporator coil above with the 2 pipes blocking the front access like the machine in this video?
No, what has to happen is remove the front cover, to access the coil, carefully remove the metal that holds the coil together, you now have a little access point to see the inside.
Dude, I would've absolutely been under that thing in starlight the pair of Hard Right Red🫠 absolutely missed your opportunity. Grinder blew my brains out.😆
Hi, Nice work. It would be great to see a pump down operation with that particular model. I read the instructions behind the cover but I am still a bit confuse. Best regards.
I use to like diversitech but not any more. But those pumps have a rubber check valve in them. A few times I just cleaned the check valves, made sure the vynil hose was clean and the pump worked fine. I think thats what happened with yours.
in heat mode, The heat pump will shut off at 35-40 degree ambient temp and have the furnace come on. The furnace and the heat pump are never on at the same time. Even in defrost mode.
