I used to follow Steve Backley in the Javelin but nobody that i remember threw a javelin like this guy Zelenzy. The power and speed was unmatched. he won three Olympics on the trot with throws of 1992 - 89m, 1996 - 88m, 2000 - 90m and not forgetting a silver before those three games in 1988 - 84m. Guy was a beast, an incredible athlete and many thanks for the memories still.
Anyone know the details of the bloke who releases at 0.24seconds, and date/year of the throw?. . . Just curious. Does a side on turn but hits a good power position with a decent high point and separation, and non reverse finish.
