PB :67m89. She won the World Championship 2009 in Berlin at only 21 years old. She was trained by one of the best discus thrower of all time : Wolfgang Schmidt !
nice to see discus and women in this light… my favourite sport was aths, was a thrower too, did it for 10 years.. lost my passion and didn’t believe there was any positive future in it.. however, after 7 years away, I am wanting to return. Seeing these powerful, highly talented women doing something that I truly love, and succeeding.. it’s such a great and honestly emotional thing to see. Interested to see how well women’s sports develops in the next few years. Love ya Dani 😊 love from another danni haha
I never heard of Dani until now and when I first saw her technique and throw I was in awe. You can just tell that someone's technique is great, but also knowing what good technique is and trying to learn good technique to as high of a level as Dani is ashtonishing because you know how hard it is. I feel like Dani is someone that achieved what she did in discus because of her great techinque and I know others that achieved what they did because they have a good arm or are stronger.
She has way better footwork in the circle than percovic. Sandra is on a whole other level than dani strength wise. I believe sandra will hit 75m soon enough. I dont believe she has hit top form yet.
Once an athlete is successful, it's amazing how many people pop up saying they coached them. When an athlete is unsuccessful, it's amazing how apparently nobody was involved in coaching them. Dani Stevens (nee Samuels') lifelong coach is Dennis Knowles. Like most athletes, at various times in her career she's had the input of many other coaches and athletes. But from the age of 12 Knowles has been there with her. instagram.com/p/BSZup9rgGU5/?taken-by=dani___stevens
She is a arguably a great athlete. But the queen of discus!? As same as I'm the queen of fucking England. The queen of discus and athletics in general comes from fucking Croatia.
@@ceesvegh4904 stupid comment. You take a male 8 inches taller and 80 pounds heavier. With that speed and technique, you would have 240 ft. Plus throw.
