I watched this years ago (one of my first with Ask Charlie) and have been using this method ever since - does a great job and my box of Oust sits unloved :-)!!
So lovely to see such familiar parts of Scotland in your vlog. I used to live very close to where you are and have walked the same path and beach. My husband used to regularly swim in the firth and I think people thought he was a bit mad! Sadly he passed away last summer but your vlog brought back some very happy and emotional memories.
Thank you for another gorgeous vlog. Taking us on your lovely trip to Scotland, a truly sentimental place for you ❤ Keep enjoying your summer activities with your talented family, heal well Gus 😊🌻
Another lovely vlog Charlie, thank you. I missed my Friday evening with you as we are in Dorset for the weekend with no WIFI so it’s been challenging trying to watch you but I did it and really enjoyed it. The House of Bruar looks wonderful , I too have a pair of boots from them and I live in them during the winter months , and they are so comfortable. Enjoy having Archie home and have a wonderful but hopefully cooler week 😘😘
Loved this vlog ❤ we are lucky to live not very far from Gordon Castle but not been yet. Now that I’ve seen the beautiful gardens on your vlog we’ll definitely make a trip there in the summer. We love House of Bruar too ❤ so lucky to have it near to us. Thank you for another lovely vlog filled with great content. Much love from the Highlands 💙
Beautiful vlog this week Charlie . Thank you . Gosh Santana is such an elegant creature isn’t she ? I know nothing at all about horses ,I’m afraid !….but I think that saying she’s elegant is the perfect word ! …..Coco is a beautiful rider ❤
What a joy tu watch that video it's a joy .you deserve a Travel award .Scotland looks smashing you look.lovely in that fab jacket from the Chestnut collection so fitting for the occasion.
A tip on removing ticks that I learned from living in Iowa where there an abundance of them....use a kleenex and grab the tick, twist counter clockwise and they come right out! Thank you for sharing your trip, excited to see what you bought for your birthday and looking forward to next week!
@@ask.charlie ….and the fabulous thing about larks, is that they only sing as they fly upwards…. I’ve always thought that they must be so full of joy as they soar heavenward!! X
Lovely vlog as always Charlie! Your videos are my Friday night ritual! Thank you for your vulnerability when sharing your thoughts on your parents early days, I found it rather moving. The dramatic scenery of scotland never fails to inspire me either! I went on a hiking trip to Pitlochry last Autumn and we couldn’t resist a trip to House of Bruar on the way back! Excited for next week’s vlog after that sumptuous tease! Have a peaceful weekend, thank you again xx
I have just tried your hot cloth tip, while frying, when some oil had spilled out. It absorbed the oil much better than dry cloth or kitchen paper towel. I really appreciate you.
I don't know how you managed to fit all that in on one day. I think I'm super woman i I make one cake. I'm also rubbish at making scones - everyone says they aree easy, but I don't find them so. Would haved loved to spend an afternoon looking lat jewels.
Hi Charlie, I have been wondering for a while, at what daily maximum temperature do you decide to switch your beautiful Aga off? Conversely, at what daily minimum temperature do you switch it back on? Thank you Charlie. I always appreciate and enjoy your videos. Gotta love 💕 gorgeous Lola!
Thank you .I try and keep mine as clean as possible, like you say, clean as you go. I do have a gentleman that comes once a year and gives it a huge great big deep clean. looks like it’s just come out of of a showroom … treated myself once and that’s it now ! I have him every year .
Thank you Charlie, I love my Aga too best purchase I ever made ❤️ Sadly though I’ve finally turned it off for the summer ( well almost ) I’ve left the simmering oven on as that doesn’t create too much radiant heat 😂 Deep clean pencilled in for August xx
We do all love our Agas I agree. I watched your vlog with nostalgia because that’s how I found your channel as I was looking for ideas about cleaning my Aga. I use to have an oil Aga but when we did our extension I went for a new electric R7 and love it. I must admit I turned it off a few weeks ago then it got colder again so on it went again but now it’s off again. I do miss it even down to having to use my timer to remind me to turn the fan oven on! I haven’t done a full clean yet but will do and will take the doors off. Love these videos as you learn and inspire! Thanks Charlie 😊
Jewels! Goodness Charlie, I hope you got everything done... I should have been frantic with all that to do!! Hope the trip to Scotland went well. Poor Gus.... my son broke his wrist quite badly too when he was younger...he had to have metal wires, which was pretty awful, but he soon healed and all is fine now. Xx
Good Lord! The panic I was feeling on your behalf with all the cakes and scone and granola that you had to do 🤣🤣🤣, I think I would have just had a meltdown and sat down and cried, bless you, you handled it marvellously - I do hope it all came together in the end!!! The Tea and Tonic products sound dreamy, not heard of that brand before, going to go and have a look at them now! Love the Zara dress. JEWELS!
I love my Aga! The one I have now is my second one, its electric rather than oil and much better. I think I might clean it now you have given me the urge.
