thanks for the video man. Tbh Im a skinny dude and I cant afford a gym yet, but I have seen that this website has a lot of great routines for starters and for more advanced people. Im doing my best to practice daily with the advanced ones but the thing is that Im not really sure if I could get an atletic body by doing this exercises + more protein and food to my diet. What do you think about it?
I think it's ok if they flare a little at the bottom (kinda like at the bottom of a heavy bench to recruit a little more chest). The neutral handle should prevent anything to crazy. Just make sure the you don't bring them out to the side too much, so you don't put to much strain on the joints
Is this like the Hanes underwear that are like a spandex? I dont like those cuz when u dribble a little bit after taking a leak, if feels like you pissed yourself
Good video. How would you compare the spreader bar with the ro-t8 grip and short or long bar combo? If you could only buy one, which one would you choose?
The if you can't get it into place argument is stupid. When you barbell bench or do squats you don't lift the weight from the floor. Why are dumbbells any different? Why risk getting hurt trying to get dumbbells into place?
YES! I'm 72 and I go to class once a week lately. (Recovering from an illness). I also have a Jiu-Jitsu friend who comes to my house once a week. I hope if I ever have to utilize my Jiu-Jitsu I will be able to implement a few techniques. It keeps me moving towards my goal of learning Jiu-Jitsu. Don't stop.
Hey , I was lifting weights 3 days ago and suddenly my head started hurting in the left back side. I had no choice but to sleep. After 3 days too , when Im lifting weights and breathing hard it starts again. Any tips?
Water dehydrate's you !! Water is a solvent. Dehydration is a depletion of ELECTROLYTES not Water. Thats why body builders Water load, to go from a Grape to a Raisin. Your urine should be yellowish, NOT clear. The only reason it is clear is because you kidneys are dumping excess water. The more you exercise, the more Water you will need.
"I profusely apologize to the 4 ppl watching this"......your monologue made me SO laugh, AND I really liked your workout! I recently became a personal trainer (at age 56), and I teach group fitness. I hope to practice some of your moves in my own workouts! In my opinion this is a great workout for helpful and purposeful movement. LOL at the cat stalking you the whole time! THANKS for the workout and the laughs!
Ha! Thank you very much for the kind feedback. I totally forgot about this video. Congrats on becoming a trainer, and at 56. That's fantastic. Assuming you train Gen pop, your life experience (particularly that which has put some miles on your joints) will help a lot when choosing exercises and balancing intensity levels...solidarity and all that. Thanks again
If longer rest periods work better for Hypertrophy, how does DC training work since your only doing a total of 3 sets done reps pause style. Wouldn’t just doing those 3 failure points be better with longer rest periods?
I just saw the henny attachment on sale on mark bell's website but realized it was only the base set up and youtubed it and found you and just ordered these straps. I've used my trx once for basically the same thing but they aren't rated for that much weight. You just saved me some money
Happy to hear it. I love them. I have a couple sets. One set acts basically as a ring station. I set some paddle grip ROT8 knock offs clipped to the top for pullups, and wooden rings on the bottom for dips. Great set up for dip/chin supersets. Thanks for watching
@@ThreeStormFitness works great. First time getting the bar through those holes on the straps can be a challenge but seems easier after you break it in. Might have to rearrange a couple things in the home gym to have proper clearance since my weight rack cage wasn't placed with this in mind. Have a punching bag on one side that I had to wedge on old dip rack up against to get it out of the way and some bowflex dumb bells on cinderblocks on the other side that got in the way on the low to the ground leg movements but I'll make it work.
Thanks! I've been generally busy with average busy american stuff. Relevant to this channel, however, I've been working on a project for a couple months called "modular muscle" where I run different set and rep schemes for a few weeks then talk about them. So far, I've done 3x8-12, max effort 1rm, Edt 10rm, 25@85, 3x10, 3x8, 3x3@90, gzcl t3, 4xamrap, and a few more...just need to record the episodes and edit in the b roll footage. Should have the first few episodes out sometime between May this year and 2054...sorry, I'm dragging. Appreciate you watching this vid. Thanks!
@@ThreeStormFitness lol well I will definitely be tuning in for it. Very interested to see your full layout of sets, reps, exercises, how you group your workouts, how you fit stuff into a time frame, how you work-in stuff like those extensor exercises, just the little stuff. And oh man I think we all can relate to the busy busy American life/schedule. Like a rat in a wheel. Hopefully in one of those videos, we will see those really cool shorts you have! Lol
Very glad I found you and was gonna recommend some of the stuff you said. This is new-ish for me. At least the severity and frequency has increased for both as well as duration. The biggest help I have seen is from the giants nut sack foam roller! I’m convinced that all the tension I have in my traps and shoulders over the years that the damn has finally burst! You made me LOL with the MLB player reference that sounds exactly like me I feel so much better I’m not alone!
