As someone who likes cats like Leafpool, squilf, hollyleaf, ivypool, Dovewing, Bluestar, etc, and hates cats like Lionblaze, JayFeather, Tigerheart, Bramblestar, I genuinely appreciate this video. (Help my autocorrect wants ivypool to change to Liverpool 😭)
Yeah, I just finished this book yesterday and I completly agree… Even ignoring the fact that we already knew this whole story.. This book does nothing new to improve the story, it‘s just there. I don‘t need to read about Onestar who doesnt take a single blame for his actions. You couldve easily just read the main arc
Why did they just completely forget about Cloudtail? Then again they only had 3 of several important plot points. I hope either next book is longer or they give equal amount of time to each book because Forest of Secrets and the Raging Storm are pretty important books
if they get to do series 2 of warrior cats the removals section is going to get long (since no sane person will leave in all the faffing about walking from point a to point b when a single page montage will cover it in full)
I am so thankful you explained what a chimera is and that it's nothing to do with a split-face marking - Sincerely, as someone with a hyperfixation on kitty genetics
I have a feeling some of the missing stuff will be brought up in a past tense type of way. That way it would save more page space for what they have to work with.
What I noticed in the graphic novel: - The only appearance of Rosetail is on page 137 when Blackfoot is breaking into the nursery. - Firepaw's fox sighting is vaguely shown on page 54. - The relationship between Rusty and Smudge is skimmed over. - The narrative refers to the stolen kits as Frostfur's kits. We can see that the rescued kits include: Cinderkit, Brackenkit, Thornkit, and Swiftkit. Swiftkit is Goldenflower's kit. We also see no Brightkit. - Part of Graypaw's humor is cut off. For example, "Now, Darkstripe is neither young, nor pretty!" as well as, "Well, I'm more lopsided than a one-legged badger. I think I'll have to settle for hunting stupid mice. I shall just wander up to them and sit on them until they surrender."
