Hi there! Just been recently admitted into Columbia as well as TU Delft, really struggling to make a decision and I was wondering if you would have any thoughts regarding this yourself? Struggling to see if GSAPP is worth a 3 year course (they haven’t given anyone advanced placement this year), and what your general review of the school would be / what you know of the rep it has when it comes to finding a job as an architect/or in a different field … I’ve watched all your videos about the course and they’ve been really helpful so thank you!!
Hi Holly, thank you for your comment! I loved GSAPP and my experience there, so I totally recommend it, plus living in New York City adds a whole different layer to this education. I agree with you that 3 years is long, I don't know what I would have done if I wasn't admitted with Advanced Standing. How long is the Delft program? In terms of career, I really liked that there were a lot of coding / tech classes offered as electives, because I think it gave me very valuable skills!
So you guys should have visited Tamilnadu Maharashtra for their beautiful heritage temples that are approx 1200 years old And my home state (gujarat) has ran utsav ( desert festival )in winters
😅 you dont know the real story of how taj mahal was actually built do you? Haven't you seen the restricted area where you can find hindu sculptures ? I've seen on the right after we pass entrance gate there was mini mahal where it was barricaded ..even once you come to tejo mahal there are underground tunnels where they were locked with iron gates as well... the moghul king didn't love the wife at all she was his 8th or some numbered wife where she didn't like him and was forced to marry him ..and he buried her body right above shiv ling ..and he also used hindu laborers for modifying the existing tejo mahal which was hindu temple and he mercilessly cut 10000 man's hands and killed a few cuz nobody would ever dare to tell he truth , but people instead say it as " he cut those men hands because he didnt wanted another marble architect to be ever built "
Next time when both of you will come please visit South India it has many ancient heritages including UNESCO World Heritage sites. And also please visit Darjeeling hill station and North East India. Many indians like me ...are giving multiple suggestions to visit their states....😅😂i would also like to ask you to visit the state of ODISHA(Indias best kept secret state)✌🏻🇮🇳
Did you not go to El Chalten? I'm sorry, but you haven't been to Patagonia yet! (: Next time, you should visit for at least a couple of days. In additon I highly recommend exploring the entire Carretera Austral region. I wouldn't spend any time in the big city because this region is too beautiful to waste time in urban areas. I'm not sure why you didn't love the food in Argentina. I've been there three times already, and I really enjoy the local restaurants. Maybe you need better recommendations next time. (:
You are right, we did not go to El Chalten :( we did have a very intense itinerary, but we did not include El Chalten in it (this would be another thing for us to do upon our return to Patagonia). And I agree with you regarding the urban areas. I loved the nature, it was beyond beautiful, and that's where I would want to spend more time next time! :) thank you for your detailed comment!
Congratulations you experience 0.11% of India 😅 By the way thank you for visiting our beloved country🇮🇳... If you guys coming back please come to Kolkata and Northeast of India ❤

When you are back in India next time do consider visiting Andhra Pradesh, beckons with a rich tapestry of culture, history, and natural beauty. You can immerse yourself in the architectural splendor of ancient temples like Tirupati, savor the spicy and diverse culinary delights, and witness vibrant festivals that showcase the region's cultural vibrancy. Explore the serene beaches along the Bay of Bengal, venture into lush green landscapes, and experience the warmth of local hospitality. With a blend of tradition and modernity, Andhra Pradesh offers a unique travel experience, promising unforgettable memories for any foreign visitor seeking a diverse and immersive cultural adventure.
Andhra Pradesh is no good.. he is just making up all that because he lives there.. for eg the only actual place he mentioned to visit was Tirupati temple which is not even worth to travel all the way to AP to see just that… rest of the things he wrote were just gibberish.
There is correction. There nothing was built by Muslim rulers called Mugal Taj Mahal is a topical Hindu architect Agra fort too Taj Mahal Agra fort Kuthmeerar Delhi and all Other historical buildings and temple were built by Indian Hindu rulers before 14 century BCE. Mugal rules were destroyed our wealth our culture our religion etc They loooted all Our wealth. Converted all Our temples in to their prayer hall. Over built temple Buildings structure to look like mosque
