You can do the ritual with pact of the blade to make the +1, +2, or +3 hand wraps, then summon those as your pact of the blade weapon, and then you can eldritch smite when unarmed
If your dm allows it, you can probably get a bag of holding and ask about flavoring it into a giant purple worm that can eat the items to keep hold of them
I understand this comment probably won't be seen, but another option to consider when building Kenpachi is the path of the totem warrior. The few spells you get can easily be reflavored. Choosing bear easily gets you Kenpachi's toughness, choosing bear again makes showcasing your strength easier, and for the last choice I'd personally go with wolf to overpower whoever you're fighting. It might not provide as much damage output, but there are ways to make up the difference through magic items.
Im actually using this (non-homebrew version) in my current game! Super fun. GM and I had to narrative a reason for me to not just ditch the party or kill them in their sleep for giggles, so I made a deal for power (obv) but in exchange I have to babysit these “chosen one” losers. Of course they don’t know that 😎. I am enjoying letting them make dumb choices and then deleting the enemies they pull when I get sick of their shenanigans. Very funny to keep my party guessing. I’m their nanny/pet demon 😂.
I would do all the levels he put in Monk (Way of the Cobalt Soul), but only up to the eldritch invocations of Undead Warlock. Also, don’t take Pact of the Blade. If anything take Pact of the Chain. For a demonic companion. I would also add in a few levels of Barbarian, mostly for Unarmored Defense. (Which you will definitely need if not using armor.)
I tried to make this but i use dnd beyond and like ten percentage of this exists may you mabey tell me something for dnd beyond because i would like to still make gojo
Hate to stress you out, but when do you think the Jin Wu build will be released? I’ve seen other videos, but you put so much thought into it, and I’m starting a new game soon. I would love to play a build like Sun Jin Wu. great videos as always keep it up
I will try this build. It seems the best so far for zoro, but I'm still not feeling it completely. I think I need to sit down and make my own version of this.
Way of the Long death suits wolverine pretty well. Especially their level 11 ability to just say "nah" to death and just get up by spending 1 ki point.
2:50 *looks at the Sage Background, then looks at this video* No it doesn't! You have to Customize the Background to get Medicine and Nature. The Sage grants History and Arcana!
Something JJK does quite well honestly is that all their characters feel fantastic for the most part. Though the latest chapters have felt a bit... rough.
You should absolutely try making Sans in 5e, ive done a little bit and from what i can see spellwise you can do everything Sans can do. The gaster blasters are tough to figure out and i dont have it fully fixed but so far i have an artificer that imbues their drones with magic to trigger spells that have long ranges which you can flavour to be essentailly laser beams, then you have bones which i forgot what the spell was called but you can trigger skeleton arms to erupt form the floor and claw at your enemies and i havent looked into Sans turning your soul blue as a D&D equivilent, other than that its just misty step and mage hand and you essentially have sans, would love to see if you could make this build any better or what stats to give it or whatever else because god damn do i know nothing about D&D. Goodluck!
I see Mental Prison as the full Limitless Domain Expansion. It hurts them at full even on a successful save, and on a failed save, they are pretty much in the domain. And if they try to move or attack, they take a MASSIVE amount of damage and the spell ends.
One I just want to say that this build was awesome! I was following it a bit for my low level weekly campaign. I made her a Hexblood and we roll stats vs point buy. We just hit level 4 and I ended up picking up a +3 weapon so I figured I’d instead head down Pact of the Blade.
8 strength? HE IS LITERALY BEARING THE WEIGHT OF DOZENS OF WEAPONS THAT ARE STORED IN HIS SHADOWS HE IS ALSO ONE OF THE SMARTER SORCERERS WHO EVEN ALMOST HAS A DOMAIN EXPANSION AT SUPER YOUNG AGE
Love the nanami concept. Actually my favourite of the jjk ones so far. But we have to ask for my favourite character. Day 1 of asking for geto build(I made one already, but I want to see how yours would be)
