You clearly have no idea how to use this thing…. But hey, thanks for the heads up. I’ll watch out for any coin dealer trying to sell me a coin on ice. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
a closer observation will reveal that anything containing high copper will actually give a reading to the left side of the brackets. This is for both gold & Silver settings. Pure gold or silver will only read to the left if the sample is higher purity than the selected setting
You could make way more money selling them to collectors for numismatic value, some hold high numismatic value and still you can sell these for $3-$5 just for a common wartime nickel! 😢
Sadly this classic model has many flaws that have been discovered. Save up and spend the money on a mini pro or investor. If you are investing in gold its less than a single 1oz coin.
Hey dude, I have these minerals on private property here in Colorado. I wanted to ask if I could set up a phone conversation with you. Long story short, property has been in the family since 1980 and I'm looking for a group of people that can help me make this happen. I appreciate your time and enjoyed the video. Thanks man, Jason
With all due respect my man….A good cleaning of your fingernails would be appreciated. First thing my kid said to me is why does this guy not wash his hands. Told him you must be busy saving the world, no time for personal hygiene. Cmon man, a bath, shower, or just get your nails done. Show some self respect !!! WOW !!!
This is one reason to not move all manufacturering over to your enemys we dont even have machines to make our bullets anymore we rely on china to make them well if we go to war with them how long will they sell them to us great strategys sounds like treason to me
These things are worth more than thier weight in silver. That second one you popped is $70 on eBay now😂😂. I have bags full of them in capsules. A coin shop will pay you spot plus $10 premium for most of these, there is absolutely no reason to destroy them.
Ring test is my favorite in a pinch test. That is also reason I only get coins or rounds. faking the sound and weight and dimensions of a coin would be near impossible. If they could, it would nearly cost as much as a real coin.
From what I saw, the Sigma actually pegged it as fake as the pointer went off the scale to the right which is indicative of a counterfeit. The XRF though, that is really shocking. Almost as if the XRF is just reading the surface whereas we know the Sigma sends an electromagnetic signal penetrating the surface. I'm real happy with the Sigma. How did that counterfeit add up with weight, diameter and thickness? Excellent video, liked and subbed.
What my question is, is with the tungsten fakes can they not plate them or does is have to be encased, as I know some materials don't plate well? Maybe if it was copper they could plate it properly without putting a shell on? Maybe that's the big give away is that the tungsten ones that weigh the same will always have a gap on the edge as they can't be plated and get the same weight? Also I have seen the sigma be fooled if the outside shell is really thick and you don't get the nozzle attachment out and move it over the whole coin.
@@onlyme9262 One can plate tungsten. Electroless nickel strike plating on the tungsten followed by gold plating. But apparently this process is not that easy (or cheap) to do. The other thing is gold electroplating produces a maximum thickness of like 0.025mm. The thickness of the foil in this fake is about 0.14mm by my calculations. It could be plating with gold doesn't produce a thick enough coating and gets scratched too easily, which readily reveals the fake grey interior? With copper the color difference is harder to tell, but the dimensions of a copper-plated gold would be totally wrong
